Come on Fans !!!!

As a graduate of Rutledge High Scool I am trying to figure out why there are no Grizzly fans on coacht talking about The Grizzlies. I know the Griz have won only one game, but the problem is not the players. There is talent on the team. Need I say more?

Looks like the Patriots will be without the services of Dakota Wright (who is injured) and Anthony Goins is limited and may not play very much, so I have been told.

Well this change resulted in a 28-14 Patriot win !!!!!

As a long time Fan of Jeffferson County football all I can say is this season could turn out to be a repeat of last season !

It is my understanding that Brad Mason has been dismissed from the football team for threatening (sp) a teacher. I do not know if he was kicked out of school.

Well once again for the sixth straight year I get to say " Wait till next year" !!!!!!!!!!! The offensive line was whipped time and time again at tonights game and the patriots could not get anything going. We gave up one big in the first quarter and could never recover. Defense played well after that. What else can you say!

I'm glad Jeff Co. is good and confident. I have family in Jeff City who think the Patriots are a little young to be very successful. Apparently the Jeff coach says that he has one of the best teams they've ever had this year. I guess we'll see. GO DEVILS!!! P.S.- With Jeff being one of the biggest schools in Tennessee, you would think this matchup would be lop-sided. But I honestly see it as two pretty well equal teams. The Devils jumped out to a 14-0 lead last year and then the flood gate opened. GO DEVILS! From everything I have read on the various JC threads, I'm not hearing "good and confident" I've read a lot of "ifs and maybes" . "one of the best teams they've ever had" is tall order considering some of the legendary Patriot teams of years past. It does pique my curiosity though. I'd be willing to bet this game is won or lost up front....and with the Devils size and speed on D I'll still give them the advantage. Coach Anderson was saying this could be the best team HE has ever had.

I think the Devils will be undeafeated in their conference this year. The Region Games will be the best to watch. Ticket sales will fall because everyone knows the Devils are going to win. Devils are gonna be like Maryville in this new conference. I would say so since it is about the weakest district in the state.

Good for Tim Mcadoo. I am a vol fan but good for him. He can get a good education there play some football and I hope he has a great 4 seasons. Who knows maybe we will see him on sundays.

Yes....and I think the mercy rule was the best thing tssaa has ever done for the game. A coach has also got to teach discipline. I think you do a disservice to your team if you don't say "no its not ok to pound them into the ground just because you can". Sometimes teaching them when to hold back is just as important. And comparing football and baseball is strictly prohibited on Coacht If that does do it for you maybe some of the OLD players will get out there.

I understand we have 65 freshmen this year. Could be a talented bunch.

As far as I know it will be in the same place, but you never know. All I know is we will just have to wait and see because it is all a rumor for now.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't JCHS due for a new stadium in the next 2-5 years ? Also, is there any truth to the rumor that new artificial turf will be added at the same time as the new stadium?
