Both teams played well. I thought they both looked really tired. It wasnt exactly pks though it was some goofed up looking hockey way of ending a game. The refs didnt even know how to do it. Ooltelwah will go really far I am sure this year. Great players and coached really well. THe lady cougars enjoyed the game. It was heartbreaking to end it with such a mess.

Every tournament has its bright spots and its not so bright ones. I think each team that is going has a lot to offer in the way of competition. Never under estimate the underdog. One of those teams you are taking for granted might just come up and suprise you at state. I know CHS is taking EVERYONE on their side of the bracket seriously. JMHO I believe every team should be viewed as a threat no matter where they are from or what tournament they choose to play at. CCS always hosts a well organized and fun tournament and I dont feel we should take away from their hard work. JMHO. You are entitled to feel it isnt a strong field but just about every team going has suprised one or all of us at sometime or another. I compliment them all in advance for a good round of games this weekend. GOod job to all esp CCS for hosting another year of competition.

Both CHS and FRA are strong teams this year. They met in a preseason scrimmage which CHS came from behind and one but both will be really hungery. We will see what happens but til looks to be an awesome tournament as usual. I am glad CCS host such a strong field each year for them all to come and showcase at.

Ensworth has a great team. THey worked hard and they have a lot of speed. CHS played great too. Both teams should be very proud of their effort. Great job to all those involved.

CHS has worked really hard this summer in and out of the weight room. I think they are due some good luck! I believe they will win. The cougar boys really deserve it. Not saying Page isnt awesome in their own rite but the determination in the cougars will shine thru as they win over page. Good luck guys and way to work hard this summer. I saw you out there every day working and I was proud.

CHS players are all going to be ok. It was a physical game. Both teams played hard. I have not heard how the siegel players are but I hope all are well.

CHS 4- Clarksville 1 CHS 5 - FRA 4 Clarksville has a nice team this year. FRA is amazing this year! Great squad! Go Cougars!

That is totally ok. It will be an adjustment I am sure but CHS is so used to adversity that I am sure they will back build and adjust. Heck look at RHS for example not necessarily a star studded squad but they worked fluidly together by the end of season in order to beat everyone. I just expect that out of CHS. I definitely see the WCS war being a good one. All the teams are left with exceptionally strong rosters. I am sure all will do well.

That is fine sell CHS short. No big. I believe all the WCS teams have a shot regardless of who they graduate but obviously you dont share that belief.

How could they leave Anna Fisher off this list? She is on every list from here to Memphis but some how she gets left of this one? CHS some how does not have any representation on this list! I know I am partail but I really dont see how it is a complete representation of the best in our state by blocking out players like Anna, Jayme Trocino, and Tessa Williams. JMHO. All 3 have managed to be recognized by the other organizations how is this one turning a blind eye?!

Anna got nominated on her own merits not just because Porter was a member or not. Have you seen her play?! Getting a scholarship to UT is no small thing neither is the soccer resume she has behind her. 102 goals in one high school carreer is amazing in her district. Porter has been a coach longer than 1 year (just 1 year at CHS) so she very well could have been a member for a while. Why werent there many defenders on that list is what I wonder about?

Mjhub did you do your list just on the teams at state? If so why? If I might ask. I honestly wondered how you came up with the list.

I just wanted to know to be able to compare our schools program to those of coaches which are percieved to be better. Not in a bad way at all. Just to know what to look for. You are right some schools would not have programs without some coaches stepping forward and putting themselves out there. I personally feel Williamson County has some of the best HS coaches out there but then again I am partial to all its teams but others might feel differently.

Centennial will enjoy being the underdog. Yes they are losing 4 starters. 4 very strong starters but they are gaining lots of speed and aggressiveness. I for one think they will again be bigger contenders than what folks tend to give them credit. B'wood will as usual be very strong. All of the girls that are playing JV and Varsity over there have lots of history extending back through middle school and they will be a tough team to tangle with. Franklin very strong losing only 2. Ravenwood has had a taste and will want to go back. As usual this district will be a tough fight and any one of these teams will be impressive to watch.
