From the Top of The Rock connection, talk is Baseball parents. Same up here, baseball parents can't or don't ever get over T Ball and think all players have intitlement to play. The biggest sissie cry babies are baseball parents. Look around and talk to any AD or see baseball coaches suffer similar faint. We love baseball on the rock but I would be for disbanding high school baseball and just play summer league ball.

Someone should have gone after that SP coach that went to Boyd.

Boy that matchup just turned into a new level of rivalry! The rock needs to get someone like that.

Didn't 2 players die while at practice under his watch before?

Why is it that something that makes national news on sports center & in several news papers is banned from coacht? We have our own problems on the rock but the valley boys problems get way more exposure and for that get banned.

The Tigers and small rural schools can't really compete against privates like Boyd, way too much recruiting. Total split is getting more support, very well might be a total split in a few years.

We have many issues on the mountain but we have some talent. The valley should have some close games this year. Obviously, the Pirates, Warriors & Indians all will be good, the rest hope to be competive. BTW, Congrats to SP baseball, coach Stone, coach Ladd & team. Best baseball program in the valley in recent years. Good to see a mountain boy involved.

Did you really say help? Things are bad up here in Jacket land and help is needed but you have got to be joking.

SP fans live the life most all in the valley & around the state only dream about. Love them, hate them, you have to respect them!

Was that time for a 30 yard sprint?

SP has been the dominant program over the long haul @ as of late. The MC loss of it's starting QB is huge for the Warriors, the SP loss of the backup QB not so bad. Looks like the neighbors down in the valley have fences to hurdle. I see NJ benefits and the MC benefits but don't understand either move.

The South Pittsburg program has been what all valley programs hope to be! Got to call it like it is, like them,hate them you have to respect them! I once played softball against a lot of guys down that way, plain spoken hard nosed men.

Ole LaugerHead is near speechless about Old Pirate, Pegleg and Roy Dillard taking up with some motel babes and then all 3 gone missing. Many better start praying & kneeling because the end of time is upon us.

The future looks brite for the Jackets but the division in the little league with more than one team is a stumbling block!

The Laugerhead would like to wish the Pirates of South Pittsburg the best of luck in this matchup. The Laugerhead hopes that the Pirates will represent the Sequatchie Valley well. The Laugerhead says goodluck Pirates.

I am very very excited about this game tonight. I like SP but always a Grundy fan at heart. I look forward to seeing The Bryant Brothers in their debut game. I know one daddy (Jerry Bryant) that must be really proud of his two boys coaching their alma mater.

The Laugerhead wonders why Old Pirate is concerned with 2A. I like the Pirates myself Old Pirate, but I wish they would come out here to Grundy and play my Jackets again. We need to get that rivalry started back. I think Grundy could compete with SP.

The Laugherhead says we will definately find out who ole Slick Ricky is if he took the position as defensive coordinator at Temple. Mo$$$$, how do you think TT will accomadate Slick Rick and his IBS situation?
