The season is so young it will take time to see who belongs where....except for Ensworth and MUS. As for Tyner being on Baylor's schedule and that they should not even be there....you really don't know alot about Tyner then. They are having a down year for sure. But Tyner has been a strong football program for years and they play McCallie this Friday night as well. Baylor put a beating on Tyner and the other loss Tyner had was to Ooltewah who is ranked near the top of 5A football. It could very well be that Tyner is not bad but they have played a couple of top football teams....it is all how you look at it.

McCallie Mom I don't think you will be having a party this year at Baylor. I think the streak ends and also Baylor beats BGA Friday. Go Red Bank!

I follow Red Bank (we won a tough one against Boyd last night) and have not seen Baylor yet. But I have really been impressed with what they have done in two games so far. I think Baylor is going to surprise a few people this year. I also heard that Sam Williams has been injured since some time in the first game. But still had over 100 yards in 6 carries. Wow. I know they will need him back though. Baylor 21 BGA 7.

Well then the time they lost must have been an important loss to Catholic by CAK. Catholic has had a great run in the state but if they deserved to be there this year they would be there. Most of the posts by Catholic people are very classy.....try not to ruin it for the rest of them.

I heard the Station Camp vs East Ridge game is rescheduled to tomorrow evening....Sunday night.

What happened to get a red card? I guess if the ref feels it is deserved it does not matter how much time is left in the game....not a factor. However, congrats to Cleveland.

They always have a 'game of the week" that they do a write up on. They also put in stats for leading goals, assist and goals allowed.

Wow. Then Baylor's Cole not being able to wrestle (illness) could cost them dearly.

As always Mr. Branton writes an excellent wrestling article....he is the best at that. Sad news about Cole Hayes...train hard all year and are the defending champ. Incredible wrestler and this really sets Baylor back losing 24 points before it even starts. Baylor has had more than it's share of injuries this year. I wish Cole nothing but the best.

On a side note....congrats on signing with Xavier University!

Now that one would have to be at UTC to even get a chance to get in. I am like a couple of others on here though. I have read that Bradley is the problem and will not schedule Baylor. I wish someone on here in the know would shed more light on this...I will see if I can find out also.

Just wanted to give a big congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams from Baylor....state champs! Way to go!

Sounds like a great atmosphere at Camp Jordan....very nice soccer stadium. DonCChatt....what is the injury status for ND and CCS. All healthy or any starters out. This time of year can take it't toll.

Don't forget that along with JP11's strong showing at Baylor that they beat Father Ryan the game before so it seems that JP 11 is surging now more than FR. I too think Baylor will beat BA but they need to finish shots. They continue to dominate but it does not matter unless you put it in the net.

I agree....this is a great discussion and alot of thought has been put into it. Sounds like your young team has had a great year. Postseason is almost here and I am sure the Silverdale team and families are anxious to play some of the best in their region. It sounds like SBA wants to schedule tougher teams next year and knowing how fast some teams fill up the schedule....will help your coaches know they may need to move faster next time. Good luck to Silverdale in the coming weeks. Regardless of how you fare...for a 2nd year program you have done great. Likewise to Signal Mountain. They don't have the great won loss record but playing a tremendous schedule for a 1st year program will help them build as well. I agree with you. Chattanooga has a great chance to bring home hardware in several divisions. D2 Baylor, AAA Soddy Daisy and A/AA Notre Dame. Everyone will be gunning for these teams and when it gets to postseason anything can happen......but we have a chance to bring home some championships. Good luck to all!
