  1. There's no advanced PE. Just advanced weightlifting. Not quite the same thing. There are plenty of schools with advanced weightlifting
  2. Branum took a visit to Miss. State this weekend. Don't be surprised if two Catholic players sign to D1 within the next two weeks tops. I won't say any more than that.
  3. Yep but Catholic is still a L /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  4. "Regects" is not how you spell that word first of all. You should have learned that in first grade. And we aren't talkin about any other sports. If you'll notice the title of the forum you clicked on, i'm pretty much positive it said "Football". Oh and yes i can say nads, because I'm pretty secure with myself. If that word makes you nervous, then what you do in your spare time needs to be kept off the boards. And backyard football isn't what we're playing. We play real football, and we play it well. Catholic's football team is good not because of how great the players are (even though there are some great ones) but a combination of lots of good components coming together, including coaches and Assistant coaches communicating well. And i don't care how cliche that sounded.
  5. What are you talkin about? He was punished. He did his time and is a very good person now, not just talking about football either. He doesn't need to be punished his entire freakin life. He had a punishment, he learned from it, and now that he's playing football and won the Mr. Football award suddenly his punishment isn't good enough? He earned that award by being the best. And Mystery, we could sit here and argue all day about his guilt. Honestly, i couldn't care less about whether the courts said he was guilty or not. OJ was "innocent" of murder, does that mean he didn't do it just because the courts said he didn't? No. But we're off of football and into a someone's personal life, so put the subject back on football and we can argue more about that. But most of you (not all) AC fans are like little gossiping middle school girls. It's over, it's done with. It was wrong. Move on.
  6. Nope ruse?, the stiff arm was pretty much to the nads of the whole AC football team and fan base.
  7. Yes, because you're perfect. You've clearly never made a mistake ever in your entire life. You're a role model for us all. This whole time I've been a Christian and thought that no man was perfect, but there you go, proving me wrong. Now my whole philosophy on life has been changed. I'll have to get a new religion, redefine my faith in everything i knew to be true....but you go ahead and continue to be perfect. By the way, just because the courts said someone is guilty of something doesn't mean the person actually did it. I mean god forbid the courts should ever make a mistake. Then again you've just proven that you're perfect, so maybe the courts can be perfect too.
  8. Hey Turtle, what's the update on the upcoming Roadrunners? Any playmakers? Not heard anything about them yet...
  9. About Zak-he has not stopped working on his game since I've known him. It's an every day thing. I don't know how you think he's not in the best physical shape. You can't tell that just by looking at him. A lineman is gonna be big. He's never gonna have a six pack, but he'll always have that 350 pound bench press to make up for it (or whatever it is, i don't know) Howanitz and Branum will sign hopefully. Coulter could sign. He has offers from D1 schools. Why he hasn't signed i don't know. But leave it at that. Hood will probably gray shirt at Ole Miss. I say probably because i don't know for sure. But he'll probably sign there. Baggage or no baggage. You're never gonna drop the holding thing are you? It's been almost three months now. You should definitely stop making excuses.
  10. Well I'm not speaking for the other players or anything, but maybe they just didn't want to play football in college.
  11. Couldn't Josh have signed as a punter and Stephen signed as a kicker?
  12. 5-7 field goals. Not spectacular but not bad. More of a punter anyway. That's what he'll be doing at Air Force is punting.
  13. Does anyone know about these three players and where they signed.... Josh Davis (Rhea Co.) Jordan Rion (Page) Jared White (Trousdale Co.)
  14. Don't know about Coulter, Vann is hoping to go to the Air Force prep school, Hood has offers from UCLA, Marshall and WKU still, but i don't know where he's going
  15. Are there any TN players for Houston or Air Force in that bowl game?
  16. Hahahahahahaha oh wow you just made my day. My guess is you're one of these two players? Going incognito acting like you don't know what their names are? Oh I'm only guessing. Whew. But in all seriousness. Dorian Cozart- Catholic Zak Tait- Catholic Keiwone Malone-Mitchell Trox Greenwade-White House Ben Stiles-McMinn Central Jamin Godfrey-McMinn Central One of the ILBs for Alcoa. He was either a sophomore or junior this year. Kid was good. Watched him on TV in state championship game. He was pretty much the reason Milan had no running game. Is Tavarus Jefferson from Ensworth going to be a senior or is he graduating this year? Fastest running back I've ever seen.
  17. I think the Ivy League thing is just a personal preference for Smith. He could play D1. Somewhere. And Rogers may be small but he's very athletic. He may not be able to play for like Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, or places like that, but he could definitely walk on to a small D1. Howanitz has the off season to work up speed. Again, could possibly go small D1. I would say he would have a better chance at DB. Also Heckraiser, your forgetting Dorian Cozart from Catholic. He'll probably get some D1 offers during the spring. I'd say by the end of his senior season he'll have a good 8 or 9 D1 offers.
  18. Somebody add on to this list. I just did a quick mental check about who could go D1. (counting 1-AA as D1 btw.) Christian Reed-obviously already will go D1. Great kicker/punter. Blaine Boone-yes, he's a whole lotta big, and maybe not extremely fast, but with size like that how could he not go D1? At least a 1-AA school will take the kid. I'm surprised he's not already committed. Matthew Gossett-Not quite sure who he's been talkin to in terms of recruiting. But at the very least he'll be 1AA. If not small D1. Not quite top ten on a national scale but i would put him in top 25 at least Demarrius and Demarqus Payne-Are these boys brothers? Probably a dumb question. Both could go 1AA. Not sure about the higher levels. I know thats not everybody. I haven't seen everybody in the region play. But its definitely a lot. Oh yeah and the fibula is fine. I'll be back full mid-January. And thanks.
  19. Couple things i wanna throw out in the open. One. Hood does play both sides of the ball. TE is a side position, but he plays it almost every down. Defense is his forte. More than three people from Catholic played every down. Hood (TE, DE), Howanitz (RB, CB), Tyler Williamson (QB, S) Will Coulter (DE, OL) Zack Cooper (DL, OL) Spencer Mackle (WR, S). And all of these boys played both sides of the ball, almost every down, and obviously did their jobs. AND most of them play special teams too. Catholic really won by 2 TDs. White House had a TD with like three seconds left off some hail mary play that nobody even cared about because catholic had won by that point anyway. Oh and yes. You did give Catholic most of their points in the first half. But thats because Catholic forced i think three? maybe four? turnovers. Notice how its only WH fans who are saying Boone beat Hood in the trenches. Come on. Give me a break. It just didn't happen. Both boys played hard. Call me the mediator but I'll say its a tie.

  21. I watched some film of the Dekalb game of him and wasn't impressed at all. He's good for high school but definitely not the best in high school. Reed blows him out of the water. As do some other punters. Anybody know anything about Jordan Rion from Page? I heard a lot about him last year but this year his name hasn't come up once.
  22. Do they still do "disco" bowling? Like you know, neon lights...glow in the dark bowling ball...disco ball...the works. They need that for the championship. Do you think the bowling team could take on the baseball team? I'd like to see that exhibition match
