Well Im very partail to the Veer and power running teams. Its very effective at keeping explosive offenses off the field. As the game wears on it only gets harder and harder to stop. Unless you play against it 3 or 4 times a season its very difficult to prepare for especially if the team running it is big, strong and has a QB that can make the right reads. All this crap about gap assignment and filling gaps may work for a series or 2 but all that eventually breaks down and its off to the races. especially if you have a big strong Oline and an equally as big Fullback to grind the defense into powder. Im not a fan of all the spread offenses that seem to be the choice of modern football. give me some good ole slobber knocking blood and mud meat grinders and im happy.
