OK OK all this talk coming from all the fans is killing me... wether Alcoa recruits or not we will never know and i dont really care. This isnt Alcoa and GP its Rockwood. Seen Rockwood play CAK they a decent football team and thats what ill list us (GP) as a decent football team until we prove we can beat a region 2 school. Nothing the players can do about the schedule or the conference they get stuck in, after last season we went all the way to Kentucky to find better teams to fit our schedule and ended up having to pay Tellico Plains just to have 10 games, so trust me we tried to strengthen the schedule other then that i wish FRIDAY was already here we gotta lot to prove. CANT WAIT.

Sometimes "i told you so" just doesnt cut it...for all those who dont know what im talking about (dyer 222 yards rushing) (pittser around 160) good call tho pal.

i see GP winning this one in a close one....i just dont see th gap stopping pittser or dyer

Ok well all ive ever done is cheer for my team and stand up for them if any one has said anything bad about them,so if that makes me a moron then i guess just about everyone on coach t is a moron. And ya i do hope we play alcoa.....not saying we'd neccesarrily beat them,but we wouldnt get embarrassed like last year there's no way our team,our seniors in particular, would let that happen and we'd gain a lot of respect from a lot people.....kinda how people are losing respect for SC students because of their actions on here.

Haha.......i love that painted kid,i think he's been to like every game painted even CG and SG........true fan! Im glad our boys have peers that support them like that,im sure they love it too.I just dont see how he hasnt got pneumonia yet!

Wow you SC guys are so clever,but you forgot one thing,we're from GP(the smart school) i know bo dyer very well and i know this is not his name,its obvious that its a SC student tryin to act like a GP football player would actually talk about his own team like that,ya right good try.You guys must have some exciting lives when all you have to do is get on here and try to turn GP people against each other.

And if you havent noticed this isnt last years team...........if i remember correctly.........ya im right GP 10-0,and this is the same schedule that we went 4-7 with last year we cant help that everyone else had a down year the same year we became dominant,but if you still dont want to believe in us,we will show you.

Ok u talk about getting the story straight,then you get on here and lie? I was about 3 rows up from the student section and i could hear everything.......1st off,there was no reason for you guys to sit in our student section while cheering for the other team,2nd i clearly heard some sevier county student call out some of our students and all they said was that we was still winning,then the 91-7 chant started,after that i did hear our students talk about you guys losing which did upset me because unlike SC most GP students have class. But either way i cheer for all sevier county teams and you guys do have some great young men who do have class so i hope you guys play well and have an injury free playoff and hopefully you guys will make it far.

Well auburn2312 is obviously just mad bc his precious bears couldnt get th perfect season like the highlanders.But instead of going to scout their opponent,they came to GP and showed how much class they DONT have by trying to start something with our crowd,too bad they got kicked out before the highlanders officially became 10-0!

This definitely wont be an easy game for the men in kilts but i see them taking it by 2 TDs.

The highlanders won on thursday against a good midway team,and sweetwater lost a heartbreaker to CAK.What do you guys think?

I havent got to catch a cosby game this year,but they have obviously been doing something right.Midway played us at GP last night and their QB and their RB were exceptional athletes,there D was pretty tough at times,but near the end we began to pull away quite easily.I wish i could catch this game because it sounds like its gonna be a good one,but im gonna pick our neighbors down th road to beat midway by atleast 1 TD

well i dont have a prediction on the score yet bc we both have to make it to the 3rd round.......but i GUARANTEE if we play alcoa they will not run all over us like last year,there is no way!

Same coaching staff and basically the same players,just a completely new attitude.The day after the embarrassment at alcoa they started training,there was no way they were going to let the same thing happen again,and all the hard work an dedication payed off for them this season and now they are a force to be wreckoned with.

im pretty sure they play midway they were at the GP game last night scouting.

It wasnt purposely running it up,hammonds had his 2nd string in and then it started to get dirty,and he is gonna take up for his players and protect them,our players were starting to retaliate too and i kno he didnt want that.He didnt know that they would score on the next play,he probly just wanted our boys to knock the crap out of someone the legal way.

Another reason that coach hammonds put the 1st string back in is because midway was starting to play kind of dirty so after the 2nd or 3rd personal foul,and after yelling at the ref for awhile benny decided that if they were gonna play like that then we were going to get th 1st string back in there and run it down their throat one more time,then he did take the 1st string back out after a few defensive plays which i thought showed a lot of class!

Well i do think the highlanders will give alcoa a great game,but even if they lose,they will compete and in doing so,i think they have to gain a lot of respect from A LOT of people just to prove that even though they were embarassed last year,they will come back and atleast compete this year, they have done a complete 180 from last year and im very proud of these boys,they deserve a lot of recognition

Ok if you think that we got lucky than your an idiot....we dominated you guys tonight and we definitely weren't in for a long night like you also posted,the only thing that made this night long is the boys not being able to wait for the celebration, the hutch to franklin connection was working like always and the ground game was strong,the D played great and the hit that ricky robertson had on th QB was pretty amazing .Hopefully we will start getting some recognition and the overrated crap will end, 10-0! good job boys..........keep it up in the playoffs!!

Matt Robertson (# 2) for GP,he's not all that big but when he hits you,you kno it...........on south greene's last offensive play of the game they ran a HB pass back to the QB,the HB lobbed it a little high and right as th QB caught it he turned to go down field and he was introduced to matt robertson, he did a complete 360 along with a flip, he then lay motionless for about 5 minutes or longer,luckily he wasnt seriously injured but wow... it still hurts me to think about it

You obviously dont know anything about GP football......we will have like an entire senior line along with bo dyer(junior) and matt pittser(soph) who could both be 1,000 yard rushers next season, so the offense will be fine,and the Defense is only losing 2 defensive lineman, 1 LB and 1 FS,but taylor ogle(sophomore) got a lot of experience this year at FS in hutch's absense and did well. Ya we are losing some great players,but the boys will be just as good,if you dont believe me i guess we will show you next year @ th thicket,and you could spend the whole ride home thinking "how did we just lose to a team that lost all their "money players"

Well no matter what they do next year,GP will take the championship again,so dont get your hopes up
