You are wrong! Kenton Evans went to Memphis, tried to put him under center and run pro style off. did not work for him, he's a shotgun qb. never been under center till Memphis . he did transfer and became starter fot TSU though

This is legal in nature. Trying to avoid potential lawsuits. Everybody sues today for anything. instant gratification, no work ethic. The heat situation has been this way since the dawn of thime in west tn. never been an issue. "old school" players and coaches, what do you think? Bet ya'll are getting a kick out of this. Coaches just have to be smart, give plenty of breaks, plenty of water, slow tempo down,etc...

Basically, this system looks for "holes of grass" must be very disciplined and have ballers in the secondary!! this system relies on the screen game as well. tons of reciever stop screens and tunnel screens, also rb middle screens. the good thing about this system, they have an answer for everything, each play is determined by how you align on defense. coach on field and in box must work well together. pass game is quick hitting stuff and tons of crossing routes

Tony delk comparison, wow, wow, wow, don't over shoot the runway here. doubt he has sold out any j.v. games in his high school career like tony did. not comparing apples to apples here. understand your point though but there has been plenty of talent in west tn go to major division I college since tony in these parts.

Bottom Line: Mitchell should have won last year . they dominated from 20 to 20 then decided to get in the gun and let Ken Torry get his. They physically dominated DL last year. If they would have stayed under center and pounded them like they did to get into the red zone Mitchell would have won. BUT they did not. Problem for DL this year Mitchell Squad is a better TEAM. QB is a good athlete who can throw extremely well, receiver Malone is unbelievable, beats double teams all day and they have another one who aint shabby either. also have the twins contend with. FULLBACK is a load and running back is solid. DEFENSE is very solid. play man and load the box and come get ya. they also kick pat this year. Prediction MITCHELL WINS STATE.

in my opinion, high school athletes should be coached by high school coaches. they are there every day at the school to handle the day to day operations. they are also there to handle these young kids academic ,athletic, and emotional progress. SCHOOL, ONLY 3.3% FOR WOMENS BASKETBALL, 5.7% FOR FOOTBALL, 6.1% BASEBALL WITH ONLY 11.5 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THE WHOLE TEAM.....THESE ARE FACTS So, what is the real reason that the child is playing the sport, for "daddy" to live through the child, to go to school, to hang with their friends, etc.. we need to look at this also. Bottom line:TRAVEL BALL IS TRAVEL BALL FOR THE MORE COMMITTED, MORE FINANCIALLY ADVANTAGED(EXPENSES OUT THE WAZOO!!). haywood has played and beaten spread teams all year. 4a JCM 5a Kirby 4a Kingsbury 3a Fayette Ware 752 yards (state record) only 73 vs Haywood. kicker made 40 yard field goal last week as well. according to jax. sun. with dc success this year, should be another great game in region 73a
