I heard on the radio that the Henry Bowles tournament starts this week. Then the DJ said that Howard was 7-0. Not sure who they have played but I don't even think we won 7 games last year. Whats different? are they legit?

I would like to see stats and penalties from that game....From what I heard was that Howard punched them in the mouth and continued till they ran out of gas....Howard should not be in 4a...but just know from some of the kids post they want Elizabethon bad next year... and I also heard Howard's stud running back #22 didnt play

I'm waiting for someone to say what elizabethon fans of players did during this game....seems like Howard came in and acted crazy and Elizabethon just looked hahahaha what a joke.... But anyway, do you still feel they are soft?

I agree!!!! Hixson is not a bad team and with the right direction they could be competitive. Central on the other hand has ruined their playoff chances by trying to run the score up on Howard. No way McGhee should have been in the game when he got hurt

Ward has probably been coaching for about 10 to 12 years and I am not understanding the hype by some people. he probably averages 1 win a year in 12 years... all he does is complain about the refs and say he is not getting his zoned kids. which brainerd high gets everybodies kids

Howard hasn't even played Chattanooga Central. Howard has played 3 ranked teams and AC was the only team they were full stride against. Howard plays Central in 2 weeks

long time ram fan...Brainerd is really not that young they have a good number of seniors that start and the youth is sitting the bench. They were also blessed that they took on some transfers this season but they are also seniors. With all that being said it is Homecoming for the Panthers and they should have a big turnout so I will take the panthers in this one.

This region is weak excluding Anderson County. I was at this game and it was close Howard just couldn't score but were in the red zone about 3 times. After leaving the game I heard some other alumni say that Howard has been shorthanded since the Brainerd game . they have 5 starters out, why I don't know

Dont look up my age or my profile lol. I tell only facts and what have you done for me lately is that after bowles Frank Jones made it to the state , then Leroy Higgins twice, and the current coach that has only been there for like 12 years has been there like 7 times. this is not even a good debate. Howard probably has had players to make the state tournament more than tyner basketball has ever made it. Again tyner is football country just because you win a game or 2 doesnt change who you are

my whole point was never count your eggs before they hatch. you cant down play competition when you haven't won any games either. Bad teams cant call other bad teams bad lol

I think you need to do a little more fact checking. Tyner is not considered a powerhouse in hoops and I like tyner as a school. They are more so known as football. Howard and Brainerd has been the 2 power houses in basketball in the in forever you may wanna dig up the tssaa records. The Cameron kids had brothers that played for Howard and the both of them made the state more than he did. He only went 1 time....that's not dominance. yes howard hasn't been since 2013 but they are a household name in Murfreesboro

Anything is possible with them being the only high school magnet. However how do they just reload? Tyner is a football school probably the best in the city. How many times have they made it to the state tournament in school history?

No one scary in that region has to be a joke because Anderson Count is not scary itself in all honesty.

AC must be returning a lot of players from last years team because you guys are awfully confident. Central may be the favorite to win this region. I think they were very young last year
