Yeah, he pulled his hmastring. It was the same one he pulled this summer in work outs. He tried to stick it out thought the rest of the game, but he had basically no mobility. Its a good thing Silverdale has an offweek coming up so he can rest because he's the biggest part of the offense in my assessment.

They're off this friday, then play Basin next week.

I cannot wait for this game to be over with! I think the game will be a good one, but as far as all the negative talk and bashing on here, its gets kinda dumb. Maybe people could get on here and talk about, I dont know, like the actually game, key players, situations from previous games, and so on. Just a thought. There is alot of hype, and I'm glad these two little schools are gonna be playin in a big game, but I think people make this game out to mean to much, especially Silverdale fans. I'd like nothing more than to be proven wrong about my prediction of Silverdale losing this game, I just think that the combination of Josh Blake and Cross, all the pressure Silverdale fans put on the team to win this game, and the fact that Coach Mowry just seems to have Silverdales number will prove to much for SD. The past two years, SD has been the favorite, and the past two years Grace has just beat them worse. Sadly, I think the streak will continue.

i think this will be a close one, it's a very important game for both these teams from a region stand point. Should be a hard fought game. Personally, i think it'll be a shootout. Both offensives are really clicking right now. Blake and Cross make up a very dangerous backfield, but Silverdale has it's share of horses too. It's gonna come down to whos defense can make a few stands. Look for a high scoring game. I got Grace by 7.

I heard Taft looked pretty weak the other night. But grace did put 41 on them. I the Bledsoe game has the possibiliy of being a close one, but LV only scored 7 points on them, so I'd take Bledsoe. As far as them playin Boyd, The Bucs will beat them by 21 points at least.

Silverdale got a big win over Riverside last night. 61-0 I believe. They are a just a first year program, but played hard until the whistle. Silverdales starters played until halfway into the second quarter, then the 2nd and 3rd string took over from there. Good luck to Riverside next week. Lookin forward to Grace/Silverdale next Friday night.

"The Pitt" in South Pittsburgh has gotta be up there two. The whole town shows up and all visiting teams have a hard time finding a W there.

LordVader, I'm gonna ask if you get on here and talk about Silverdale, then do it seriously. I would love to come up and see one of these games sometime. I here its a great atmosphere. Sounds like it could be a toss up this year. The receiver/secondary matchup is gonna make for a good game. I'll take Maryville by 7.

Any of you Grace fans out there know anything about the Taft game comin up thursday night? I hear Taft is down this year, is that true? Scores, Predictions? govols78? redeagle?

I'll take MC by a bunch. I saw OS at the Silverdale game last week. They looked pretty undisciplined out there. Silverdale controlled all aspects of the game, and they are a 1A team.

The main issue at Temple is not an young, inexperienced qb. It's whether or not Ronnie Carter is gonna cut their athletic teams. I truly hope it doesnt come to that for the kids sake, but with all thats happened, I wouldnt be surprised.

Indian, where did you hear that Davenport and Edwards were among the top 75 in the tri state area? I have never heard that. If they are they have yet to prove it.

Does anyone over at Grace know what kind of team Taft will have this year? I know it changes week to week with players getting parolled and whatnot. Isnt the game going to be played on thursday night?

Yeah looks like the guys at CoachT have some work to do on the reply option. And GGE, Goodine the defensive end is the one you are leaving out. Also NOT a transfer. Montgomery and Edwards are going to be key players this year, but like I've said all summer, How Lowery and Walliser go, so goes the team.

In response to what mcpoff was asking about Silverdale, here'e the story how I understand it: Silverdale's first AD, Paul C. Hill, "supposedly" sent out a form of some possiable nicknames for the athletic teams. It was narrowed down to Knights, Flames and Seahawks and he said the vote came out that the people at the school picked Seahawks, but nobody ever remembers voting. Some say he just picked Seahawks because the nickname of the previous school he was at was the Seahawks, and he didnt want to have to buy new gear.

Wow, lets just hope these two schools try and schedule a game, even though that would be pretty funny.
