Yeah, good call Zone. I have to admit, the Silverdale boys even surprised me. They really played well and controled all aspects of the game. Lowery is the real deal. AND HE"S NOT A TRANSFER haha. However, OS is a pretty weak team. Like as weak as Sequatchie was last year. Silverdale should get another big win next week against first year program Riverside Christian. THey're first real test will be in two weeks over at Grace Academy. Coach Mowry and some of his boys were at the game taking notes. Lookin forward to it, should be a good one.

Did anyone see the Blitz today and the article about Silverdale? I'm not quite sure why Silverdale got the only big article out fo the region, but whatever. They said that The Grace/Silverdale matchup would be an important to both teams and a valuable win as far as seeding for the playoffs go. Thoughts?

Yeah, Ive heard you say that before, but heres that facts. These kids are gonna help the football team, but I would only say that one of these kids has the ability to be a gamebreaker at the point in time, thats the tailback. Of course I hope that I'm pleasantly surprised, but thats my opinion as of right now.

I'm glad there's alot of banter and discussion about this game, but neither of these teams should put to much stock in this game, no need to create all the pressure on this game, when the SP and LV games are just as, or even more important. It'll be great two see both these small, Christian schools make the playoffs this year. I think that everyone can agree that both these teams have great seasons ahead of them.

Sounds like that rumors are confirmed that Grace will have that potent offense everyone says they have. I know the offensive Coordinator, and yes he does know his stuff. Maybe they can outshoot LV and jump up to the 2nd spot in the Region by seasons end.

Ok, if you're even listening to any off the words that come out of Deb Martins mouth concerning football, you're gonna be in trouble. The only time I every believe the stuff she's saying is when she reads that scores at the end of the show, and that's because she's reading them off a screen! I'm pretty sure she's the only person in the city who thinks Silverdale will win Region 3A, becasue everbody knows SPitt will take it home again. However, I do think Silverdale will make it to the playoffs, along with the Golden Eagles down the street from them.

I feel pretty comfortable saying that these two teams will end up in the 3 and 4 spots at the end of the year. I think this game will have the potential of becoming a pretty good little rivalry game in the future. The schools are close, the kids know each other,both started football at the same time, and i really do think these are gonna be the teams of the future in the region. Both programs have bright futures, and kids that work hard. I'll give the edge to Grace this year, but it will almost certainly be a close, exciting game.

I'll say take Silverdale in a close one, 24-21
