Well JRsDad... It is true and I couldnt believe it myself. I hope Grace blames this on numbers or something. Why else would you take starters to a JV game? Maybe Mckamey was wanting to finally beat CAK, if so congrats coach on a super job! The final score was 7 to 6 in favor of the RAMS. on another note I hear Bearden picked up Waters? (#3) that means 2 sophmore football players have left Grace in the last two weeks.

I would like to say yes because Coach Bradley would want to get the experience. but who knows... PS...I dont see teams lining up to play CAK either and with the playoffs on the line it will be harder for smaller teams(division that is) to find people to play. What I would like to see is a double header with CAK and ALCOA playing two teams from Nashville or Chattanooga at a neutral site on the same day. Maybe the Sat. of Week 0 (kinda like the Knoxville vs Morristown). Would be interested to see if there would be any takers Maybe Football Dad, GVK, CG, and APB can get working on that!

It was a game type scrimmage (down and distance, punting, penalties, etc) 1s vs 1s (6 series on Off each) CAK 28 Oak Ridge 0. CAK's 2s vs Oak Ridge 1s 2 TD each...Then Oak Ridge ran all over the young guys at CAK.

Maybe you should beat Loudon first......

sorry if this has been brought up already... Can the kids who are still in the program leave without penalty? It would suck greatly for kids to leave, but only seems fair if the school makes a decision that penalizes a kid who is trying to play competitively at the high school level...you only have one high school career!

not that it matters....but just curious... How many district/Region champs fell to 4/3A (between Alcoa, CAK, and Loudon)? Betsy, Polk, Bledsoe, Grace, Maryville, Bell?, ???? *yes I know we can think Alcoa for most of them, but CAK and Loudon only lost to others from the region*

Congrats Alcoa...... I just want to know how many missed field goals, bad calls, and hurt players kept it that close for Betsy?

Does anyone know where a man may hear this game on the radio in the chattanooga area....will be in chatt town visiting family, but cannot afford to take the whole family you can thank T$$AA for that

WOW...one would think that CAK would be picked in this one, but it seems a lot of people are going with McMinn Central... I guess the Warriors will have to make it an upset special CAK 35 McMinn Central 24

Kingston likes to SLOW the game WAY down......they will be in the double wing. They have some good looking kids and like to get the game in the 4th qtr to give themselves a chance...it is not the Kingston of old! Polk should roll

Hey...I think I have this playoff bracket figured out.... CAK plays McMinn Central in the second bracket for a chance to play Alcoa because..... If CAK would been in the bottom half aganist Bledsoe, then that would have been a #1 District finisher Bledsoe vs. #2 District finisher CAK, which wouldn't be fair to Bledsoe. Well Maybe Bledsoe could have moved up to the top half but then that would have put CAK vs Loudon which cannot happen and it would have put CAK as a higher seed than Bledsoe and that cannot happen because Bledsoe was #1 and CAK was #2 If they moved both CAK and McMinn C to the bottom bracket then McMinn C would have been on the same side as Polk and according to the video you cannot have a #1 and #2 on the same side. But if CAK is in the top bracket than the video is busted again..... my suggestion....send Alcoa west

They show the brackets for 4 teams from the same district...it is the third option, option C and it clear as day puts 1 and 4 in the top half and 2 and 3 in the bottom half, which makes a lot of sense to me. If that is the case all TSSAA had to do was switch CAK and Loudon. but they cannot switch CAK and Loudon, because then a #1 Bledsoe would play #2 CAK when they(bledose) should have played a wildcard. The other option would have been to move both Bledsoe and Loudon to the top bracket, but then CAK #2 would have been seeded higher than #1 Bledsoe.....But if you moved McMinn Central in tht Bottom then they would have been on the same side as Polk and they are in the same district and what CAK is crying foul about McMinn would be crying about as well. In a nut shell....the Z-plan is flawed, or at least what TSSAA led individuals to believe in the TRAINING VIDEO!!!
