Happy you guys won the title but I guess I should have known, another Bama backer (too many for my taste), I know I know, you have liked them since you were 2yrs old.....

1st off, what pepvol said 2 posts down, 2ndly, they scored 35 points, they didnt exactly get stopped. I do not believe the problem was anything Maryville did on offense as they ran the ball very well. The last drive to tie the score they passed but they were safe passes, quick down and outs/run and stop kind of routes, more so taking what they gave them. Also, saying he coached/called the game poorly is questiniong him. As much satifsfaction/pleasure he has brought to that community, NO, I do not believe you or anybody over there should have anything negative to say about how he coached the game (even if you were right) but rather accept the defeat as graciuolsy as he did. I am not a Maryville fan and I do not like seeing them win the title almost every year but I give credit where credit is due and that program has had the success it has b/c of Coach Quarles. The team has pretty good high school football players but few great (college) prospects, what he has done is amazing, to me the real coaching is doing more w/ less.....

LMAO.....questioning Quarles huh; I think maybe WH just had really good athletes w/ great team speed and had already picked off 2 passes, not to mention they(Maryville) were having success running the ball to the very end scoring in OT. It just does not always go your way, eventhough for some it does most of the time.....

The whole ref thing was sure to be talked about it, show some class and let it go.....

Ok I know the games have been shown on PBS the last few years and was wondering if that is still the case?. I just switched to Direct TV and when I scan forward to Friday and Sat. it shows regular programming. However, considering the station, it would not surprise me if they just have not changed the programming, just makes it difficult to record on dvr.....

I am not sure what Hurd did stat wise, I was switching between Beech/NS and Maryville/Siegel (great game).....

I dont know, you would think acting stupid would get old after awhile, guess not for everybody.....

Ensworth is so over-rated, they should even be ranked; how do you compete for a state title and are nationally ranked w/i 4 years (I wonder). I bet they are primarily an academic private school right? Nobody here is stupid.....

You/We dont know that, I bet is a RB, the kid has talent running the ball (as does many other kids). Also, you are reading way too much into this height thing (yes I understand low center gravity)..... I will say for the sake of this argument, Lord Christ!!!, he will not be a RB in college, just dont understand why you are so adament about it, have you even seen the kid play?

Agreed, and cubs like you stated, you have no idea how big/strong/fast this kid will be in 2-3 years. All I know is that he is a great talent as a ball carrier and at least a few of the schools courting him are interested in him as a RB to include at least 1 SEC school. If he wants to play RB on the next level he will get his chance and barring injury I believe he will do quite well.....

Yeah, this kid is a beast w/ another 20-30 pounds of muscle packed on and maintaining his speed/agility, he will be a beast at RB in college too.....

From what I have gathered, he is injured but still very effective on offense and they have been holding him out on defense in an attempt to keep him from further injuring himself.....
