  1. I would have to say that Kenwood has the toughest 1st 2 games and the weakest is out of West Creek and HC, but this is WC's 1st year in existence so they get a pass..... HC doesnt need a "pass" from you or anyone else concerning their schedule. After three consecutive years in the semifinals and winning 30 of the last 35 games it is difficult to find anyone who wants to play without driving hours away. I am happy that they found a couple of teams not too far from home. I am sure both Liberty and Humboldt were seeing $$$$$$$$$ when they scheduled us. We will make money for every team we play. I wasnt even trying to say anything bad or put HC down; I was just answering the question. I see you guys get really defensive over much of nothing though.....

  3. From everything I hear and read, the Jackets will start out 1-0. I am not even sure what Greenbrier has this year but I figured as much.....
  4. This is great news and I am just counting the days until the season opener 8/21. I am really optimistic for Springfield this fall.....
  5. I left the scrimmage a little after 7 and JBS looked great the 1st 45 minutes or so and then it looked like the depth of the other 2 teams started to take over. JBS started to visibly wear down and more specifically lose the battle up front. Also I agree that Forrest was impressive, they were a very physical team and had a very explosive TB who ran really hard. This was a very wise scrimmage choice by Coach Adkins b/c it really pushed the team and this kind of experience will make them a better team. I look for big things out of JBS this year; they are better offensively this year and are gaining on defense.....
  6. I was actually wondering the same thing.....
  7. So they are conviently down this year.....
  8. Yeah Moto I had the opportunity to meet Coach Myers and the coaching staff this summer and I have to say that I am very optimistic about this upcoming season. Coach Myers appears to really have his stuff together and the staff as a whole is really invested in the program. By just being there I could feel some of that old tradition in the air. This could be a really good year for Robertson Co. football as a whole.....
  9. The time I heard was 6:00pm but I hadn't heard that Forrest would be there. If that's the case, I may have to rethink my plans. Can anybody confirm whether Forrest will be there? Ok now that we got the time, where is it going to be? Gonna do my best to try and be there.....
  10. Well it sounds like you guys have got it together this year again. I anticipted JBS having another great year for the simple fact LK is back but it looks like they have much more than that which is even better. What time is the scrimmage Friday and where is it going to be?
  11. Ok so it is my understanding that Springfield will be participating in the passing camp this weekend at APSU?
  12. I have not heard anything about that..... Also howdoitknow, what a coinicidence that you joined coacht a day b/4 me about 2 and and a half years ago.....
  13. Any word on how the summer work-outs are going?
  14. Springfield always has decent athletes, so this should be a good season.....
  15. Well I was moving all Friday evening and was not able to make it out to the scrimm..... /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" How did it go btw?
  16. I just wanted to know if there are going to be any spring scrims, and if so, when/where b/c I would like to be there.....
  17. Will do buddy, and sorry to hear that.....
  18. I agree, and he is even a better person.....
  19. Well that stinks..... /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  20. I recently seen him get some reps in the UT Orange/White game in which he caught a few balls and didnt look bad at all. Also, BJ Coleman looked like the best out of the 3 QBs that were playing IMO so I sure hope he is not transferring. T.Maples looks like he will be part of the rotation at reciever in some capacity this season so I dont see why he would transfer unless there is some kind of underlying personal issue we dont know about. Either way, I hope both of these guys stay b/c I believe they both could be major contributors over the next few years.....
  21. I also noticed that he has Ken Clemmons as 1 of the assistants which is an excellent move. He played college football and has several years experience coaching DBs. I also know that he really cares about the program and will put his heart and soul into helping turn it around..... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  22. This is great, I am even more optinmistic after reading this. I know some are sayin 2-3 year turn-around but w/ the athletes they have I wouldnt be suprised to see immediate success in the right hands.....
  23. Normally I would say that is ridiculous but considering how interested B52 was, the argument he had about what kind of coach the replacement should be combined w/ the fact he is nowhere to found now, it makes me wonder.....
  24. I sure hope so and from what I hear we are fortunate to have him.....
