Well I cant believe this year is over. What a great year. This team has so much to be proud of. How many teams across the state made it to the semis 3 straight year. To all the seniors.......THANKS..... it truly has been a pleasure to watch you guys. Our community is so lucky to have you guys.....37-5 in three years...thats gota be the best run in school history. This team played with heart, determination and most of all with CLASS... Some of you will suit up for college in the fall and I wish you nothing but the best. To the underclassman get in the weight room and keep up what these young men have started. I dont wana mention names or any of that I would leave someone out.... Just once again THANKS to a great TEAM.....was a pleasure to watch you this year...

Well this is the game I think both sides was counting on. Hampton has been playing pretty well all season. We have had a couple of close games in which I think has helped out for this run. I also think South Pitt has had an outstanding season. Very few games they have played have even really been close. I hope the boys in blue are already in the flim room looking at tape. Both teams are going to need a great effort to win. The game will be decided on turnovers. I just hope Hampton doesnt have any. Go Dogs.... I am a true fan so even if we was to be playing New England this week I would pick Hampton. So my pick is Hampton 29 South Pitt 22....... By the way does anyone know if Hampton will be taking a fan bus ....if not is anyone interested in getting one together... Would be around $40-50 dollars per person...Not including meals and game ticket..............GO DOGS..............

Well Friday is finally here. Boy is it going to be cold up here tonight. All of Hampton and all of Carter Co. will be out tonight in force to support these DOGS.... I hope to see a large crowd from the Greenwave following them up here. This is what it is all about folks. Two great bunch of boys and coaching staff's going at each other for 48mins. Good luck to both teams tonight. Stay healty the winner is going to need an A+ game to win. It will be a quick start for the Dogs I think jumping out to a Hampton 21 Midway 6 at the half.... Both teams will score in the second half once with field position been the name of the game in the second half. Hampton 27 Midway 12.... Going to be a packed house get there early and enjoy a funnel cake before the game. Go Dogs.....Am 1240 will be airing the game with pregame starting a 6pm. .............GO DOGS.........

Well its getting closer to game time. The talking seems to be picking up on here to. I keep hearing about these backs from Midway. We will see friday night just how good both teams hope they are. I think the Dogs D will step it up. Noone has run on them down after down this season. This D has to be in the top 3 in single A. I also think Midway has the potential to make this a better game than I would like to see. I think it will be a quick start from the Dogs and we will keep it rolling into the 4th round. This will be a 2 score game and noone goes over 30. Dogs 27 Midway 12...By the what a name from the Greenwave running back.....Harley Davidson... Got be a good one with a name like that....Good luck to both teams,.....play hard and leave it all on the field...Like it was said on here before ....No shame in losing when you give it ur all.... How many players do the Greenwave really play alot.. Just curious.. going to be cold friday so getting tired shouldnt be a real problem on either sideline.. Bring some heaters Greenwave.....

Well isn't it great for both teams to still be playing this time of the year. I think from the start both programs would have thought of it as a disapointment not to make it this far. I still think Hampton will prevail on friday night but it will be a great game. So eat some left over turkey for lunch and come out in full force to support these young men. Home field advantage and that bend but dont break D will win out in the end..... Hampton 27 Midway 12................. Hampton's 1st string still has only given up 9TDs on the yr and now 2 FGs ..... Go Dawgs... To the fans of Midway be carefull on the drive up and it will be cold.. There is also a hotel the is the Americourt Inn of Elizabethton thats about 10min from our field.............Go Dawgs.........

Well its round 3 now. There are not any push overs now. Midway will show up ready to win on Friday night. We just need to come out play Hampton football just as we have for the past 12 weeks. This game will be much like tonight I think. Two tuff defenses that will bend but want break. I just dont see either team scoring over 24 points. I really think homefield is a big deal now since we want be the team travling this week. I think the score will be Hampton 19 and Midway 12. Hampton will jump out early and hangon again. Does anyone have some stats on Midway. GO DOGS,,,,,,,,,,,,

Well I will be the 1st to admitt Oneida came out and played ALOT better than most people from Hampton thought they would. I would like to tip my cap to all of Oneida players for playing hard. I listen to the game on the radio and it seemed as if Hampton never really got rolling all nite. That has alot to do with Oneida. A win is a win and we will take it. Hampton as ALOT of room for improvement after tonight. Midway is a much better team than Oneida. Go Dogs ....This point in the season it doesnt matter how much you win by .....Just that you win.....

Hampton 17 Oneida 3 Oneida had a great drive with 2min to go in the 2nd quarter but held to a fg. Hampton also had a fg in the 2nd quarter to go with to 2tds in the 1st half...........Oneida has came to play though going to be alot better game than I thought...

Smokey what r u smoking.... There is noway we will be held to 14points against your D. Our starters also have only given up 9TDS all season and 1 47 FG to a heck of a kicker from Johnson Co. The score will be close during warmups then after that.... Just sit back and listen to the cannon ..... Score will be Hampton 44 Oneida 12(6 of those on the 2nd string). Does anyone have any stats on the team from Coalfield.... Just curious as to what type of an offense Hampton may see.... Also .... What kind of defense are they more prone to run...

Well the real season is here now. I am glad to see Hampton is peaking at the right time. This friday night will be a good game for a half. I think we have the better team and the more experienced. Our boys will need to come out and play and not be sluggish. The score doesnt matter as long as you when this time of the year.... I pick Hampton 42 to 15..I see that been the score as long as we show up ready..Coalfield as always been a great oppentant and i dont see this team showing up and not been ready to play..I just think our overall size will prevail in the second half....... Good luck to both teams and may it be a safe night.... I hope to see a full house this friday night.....Coalfield fans be careful on the drive up and it will be cold so dress warm ....... I am not one to post much, but i thought i might put my two cents worth in. I wish that everyone would stop hounding on Jaynes. The kid played hard and had a rough night holding onto the ball. If you dont think he feels bad enough already critizing his comments are not going to help. How about showing some encouragment to him and all the boys on the team. Yes they all did come out and play flat. This team from Grace wasnt that bad of a ball club either and they probably had alot to do with us playing flat. This Hampton team has a problem with lining up speed on speed. Big man vs big man we win 9 out of 10 if not all 10. These boys dont need the fans to single out players. Thats for the coaching staff to do and they will. People these boys have a good shot at going all the way. Just please dont single out players for things they screw up on that from the coaching staff and their teamates to do when it needs to be done. Good luck boys....... play hard and dont worry about what happend last game think about the next.....Cosby... time for us to all move on...

We play 5 conf games and yes 4 of them this year where cupcake games.....We played and lost to 4A Johnson County a playoff team that took morristown down to the wire in the opening rd.... we played beat easily 4A Unicoi Co which also made the playoffs We played Happy Valley 2A playoff team that alomst beat Galltingburg-Pittman during the season at there place....and we aslo played 2A West Green and 2A Chucky Doak Which both had dismal seasons....It is not our fault that out conf up here is disaml to say they least....You only have to win 2 games and ur in the playoffs....In region 4 u lose 2 games and your in danger of missing them right? Dont get on us about our schedule when we cannot control how good others in our conferance are.....Also understand we come from an under funded part of the state.....Our school cannot afford to travel 3-4 times a yr 3-4 hours to play a football game against the so called better teams.... We played the schedule that we have and also its not so easy as saying hey we need harder games to prepare for the playoffs.......Why dont u MUFFIN try and make out a high school football schedule .........

Everyone knows that this game was a hard hitting contest between young men. It is just a shame that those same young men could not have had better officals, so this debate about the refs will cont. and of course FCS is happy with the calls and Hampton is not. One thing we can both be happy about is playing after Thanksgiving and not to many schools can say the same. I for one am proud of our boys(Hampton). We played all yr with class and respect for the other team....Yes we as fans sometimes getting a little teste and take it out on each other, but remember theses players are paying attention to our actions...... We area rasing these young men to become leaders in our community....Who knows they might even become coaches one day. Just do not think I would want them to take after FCS on the respect side of things....FCS coaching staff,players and FCS REFS showed absoulty no class as one of our players laid injuried on the field. Just my little 2cents worth take it for want you want.......Again i do say Good luck to the Commanders I hope ur the best PRIVATE SCHOOL in TN 1A Football.........Hampton is the best NON- PRIVATE SCHOOL in 1A.....Good yr Dogs might not have won it all........... but they all know who we are.......

Ya this guy really knows how to hit helmet to helmet.....illegal hit was his way of taking out Hampton's QB.......And he sure is MR. NO CLASS ....really cant think the state would make him Mr. Football anything.....

You only had 4 more Wilson Bank and Trust than we had Browns Supermarket and Hardware first downs...lol ....I can say though I really do hope you all have the best Priv School in 1A...... at least if you do then we got beat by the best ........ would like to see how you all would have matched up in DIV II though,,,,,, If you guys win it all thats 3 if not 4 yrs in a row we have lost to the state champs.....I am not taking anything away from you guys.....but if i had $200,000.00 Dollars wrapped up in a high school football team.....Dang they better win it all every year......You all have more in ur weight room than our local Fitness club.....Bet that came from a Craker Barrel CEO.......Would just be curious as to how many of your players hold jobs during the season....or for that matter anytime of the yr....I bet the Rickaway kid spends his summers back home in FL....

Well call it what you want there is a differance in a hard legal hit and an illegal hit.....That hit was illegal and you all know that, it was shown on TV all across the middle and east tn.....The only ones that didnt think it was illegal where the guys calling the game that now more than likely has scholorships for the grandkids to go to school there.....And you all can take your Wilson Bank and Trust first downs and put them ........Well you know where you can put them,.....somewhere the sun dont shine..........

To each and every play on the team......This is a time that you will never forget in your lives... You guys have brought a small town from east tn to the tops of 1A football in the state of TN.. we r the best non-private school in the state, and thats something to be proud of. Each and every player has been a joy to watch, as for the seniors it was 4 great years and a ton of memories left behind, but never forgotten. I would like to thank all you seniors as no matter what the circumstances where, you never quit and thats Hampton football. Next yr will be here before you know it and you will be walking the sidelines with former players and cheering on those Dawgs. Hold your heads up and think about it......you guys won 24 ballgames in 2 yrs.... Alot of high school players will not win 24 games in 4 yrs. As for the underclass what can you say,,,,,but i cant wait till next year...You all stepped you to plate all year long and got in done.... Get in the weight room and take these dogs just one more step in the playoffs next yr..... To the fans.....Man what a yr for us to remember.... These young men are something to be proud of. Just really a special bunch of guys... And not to forget the coaches...They have put the best back to back seasons together for the bulldogs in school history.... They are as classy as it comes in coaching....JC i hope you cont. to coach and keep healthy...........Another season complete and another successful year DAWGS......It has been a pleasure see you all on friday nights and to get to watch some of you guys on Saturdays now and maybe even on Sundays sometime soon.....Have a good off season and stay in shape underclassmen .....The bar has been set......And its high....You guys have all the makings of another successful yr for next yr... ...Thanks for the run guys........Good luck to all the seniors in whatever you decide to do...

Friday nights ballgame was a true game of two champions. Its just to bad that the officals where not have that same championship caliber. Hampton never once had a call go there way and it seemed as if Friendship couldn't do any wrong in the officals eyes. For anyone that was at the game you know that Friendship was not any better. They just had all the breaks go there way, and thats football and thats why the game is played. Nothing taken from the Commanders they are a well discipled team and play well together just as Hampton is and does as well. The Commanders are also are NOT full of CLASS. When Hampton's QB was on the sideline noone seemed to care about him but the people from Hampton. The Commanders left the field not wanting to have the refs give the one more play due to halmet to halmet contact.. and the PA guy wanted to start the band and give some award out. #55 from Friendship should have been ejected from the game this week and next week. Hitting is great but just going to hurt another player is classless. Once again though those officals seemed to be in LA-LA land when the play happened. Well lets here your thoughts.......How about them Zebras......
