who are the new coaches at these schools? will they make their teams competitive?

paper said a 19 point temple win but it looked close in the 1st. did south pitt play well or did temple play that bad. paper said sexton got 15?

well i just wanted a little info into the coaches playing and coaching past. since i am from the chatt area i just wanted to know more about this rivalry from a part of the state different from mine. you might ask me the same question about temple and grace.

What is the background of both of these coaches? Where did they play hs? Did either one play college anywhere? Who influenced their styles? Sounds like a pretty good rivalry between the 2 coaches.

i was not at the game but heard grace dominated in all areas.

any opins? anyone from over in the valley care to comment?

the topper is really scared now kl. nobody is dissing anyone. i just want to find out what this guy's record is. don't care about what color sportscoat he wears, who "kneels" to whom, who wins the "battle of bugtussle" or what kind of player he was/is. i am sure you can tell me this considering how big of buds you are. i will even settle for this, how many state tournaments has sp been to or have they been to a sectional lately?

just a question. if this guy was "decades ahead" as you say what was he doing coaching at that great basketball power of sp? i would think he might have been coaching the knicks or something. lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont hate the guy cause i don't know him. i am sure you do though. i just think this philips & company and thacker & company stuff is hilarious as if anyone cared. also i just want to know what his record is. all this talk about kneeling and kissing rings and all this stupid stuff that the rest of the state is laughing at. shoot if philips is this good i might kneel myself.

would someone post a schedule. will it be an all chatt thing or will there be some teams from ga again?

do not know if i would compare phelps to pearl. once again i ask what is his record at sp? what was his record at marion? sounds like this guy has a fan club of 3 or 4 of his sunday afternoon pickup game on here blowing his horn. what is his record against coach dragoo? against coach higgns? against coach rob high?

sounds like the chatt schools are going to have a feast with both of them.

they cant beat anyone else that is why it is a rivalry game. sumbody is gonna get a win.

why is this coach at sp any better than anybody else? how many district and region championships does he have? state appearences? none i think. puts him on par with everybody else in the valley doesn't it? i would say everyone will be competive with sp this year as they always have been. this better be they year i hear.

what is south pitt record under this coach? how has he done vs the chatt teams? was he at marion before? how did he do there? does his kids play hard for him?

you trying to say south pitt is a sorry school? i don't think it is as bad as years ago. alot of people say the new principle has done good things. yes they needed a new gym. wonder where all the rats went when they tore the old eyesore down?i played in that gym and at grungy in the old gym. south pitt was the worst.

Whitwell will get even during basketball, softball, baseball season. They will drill SP. Have your fun now little Pirates.

whats the big deal? valley ball is one big joke. when is the last time one of ya went to state? worry bout winning the valley cause when you come over the time line you get one major beatdown.
