Franklin - they have everyone back that matters Ravenwood - they are slightly overrated in my opinion Hillsboro - way more athletic and talented than some are giving them credit for Independence - tradition won't take them as far as they need it to Centennial everyone else... I'll tell you what--there are some shooters up in Paris. They will be a team in AAA that shoots the mess out of the ball--just wait---you'll see.

In my opinion they should move the football back a week, like it was. Move basketball back a week so the first games of the season start the week after Thanksgiving, and use the week OF thanksgiving for the Hall of Champions games. That would cut down on some of the overlapping with football and basketball. Of course the next problem is the overlapping with basketball and baseball--but I am betting there are far less numbers of kids playing both baseball and basketball as there are both playing football and basketball. (Seems like the good baseball players are usually baseball only--where as a lot of the good basketball athletes are also good football athletes) We just need to go to year-around schooling so every season can be adjusted to where they don't overlap much at all.

I really think this game will come down to nothing more than LaVergne's line play. Their defensive line will have to show up and do a good job of not getting pushed around and their O-line will have to create time for their receivers to get down field. If there is anyway LaVergne could get up early then they have a shot. But I don't like our chances against Rdale playing from behind. jackmoreblackson made a good call that a couple points here or there and this game could have had HUGE region implications... Come out and play your butts off Wolverines and let's see what happens. Good luck guys!

Thanks for the valuable infor Mid-State. I know La Vergne's enrollment is up over 2,000 this year. By far the largest school in the region. I think this region will be very competitive...and it seems like in the future 9-AAA could push even more teams through. I think this year I would still give the nod to 10-AAA, BUT again, that's why they play the games.

I plan on seeing nike2001, denmaster, and several others...all the boys will be out tonight. So blessed---I'l look for you as well.

Well said...La Vergne has lost 3 games by a combined total of 6 points...but had they just won-they wouldn't have their destiny in everyone elses hands. I feel bad for them---I hope they can win out----that would be great for those kids and the coaching staff that has worked so hard. Go Rines!
