IMAZEBRA, I have a couple of questions for ya. Why aren't there more officials? Do the officials have any kind of physical testing they must undergo to be a high school official? I never see fat officials working college or pro games. Waiting for your reply. Thank you

moronicus, Why don't you jump your butt over to the Crossroads and tell them exactly what to do. Let the coaches comeup witha defensive plan and see if it works. With as many injuries as we have maybe what they are doing is the best for this Frioday and helps us get ready for the last 4 games which will determine where we will stand in the playoffs. I do agree with one thing...your name sure fits.

Name the last time Halls lost to Clinton. I'm not sure on this but I think it was like 1991 or 92. We have been dominate in this series and we will continue to be dominate. Clinton is no where near as good as West and certainly not as good as Bearden (I over looked how good Bearden really is). We get back on track this Friday with easy.

Central has a good chance to win? Yea, right up until the whistle blows for the opening kickoff.

highschoolking, Sounds like you got mad at my comment. Didn't mean to offend you, but think aobut this...why can't a parent film there son that plays for UT (or any college)? I simply said there would be a / some high school (s) that would not let you do it. Come to think of it, has any parent ever filmed the state championship game before?

Aren't the games always played the first full weekend of December? If that is correct, then this year it would be the 7 and 8 of Dec.

I would venture to say some schools will not allow you to film games at their field. However, your school should be willing to make you a copy of the game if you request it.

After the NFL Patriots got busted for filming the other teams signals, I wonder if this has ever been done in HS? Can Joe Fan go to a game and film the game for another school? Can they film signals of there next opponent? I would presume this is illegal, but I would bet somewhere somebody got caught with there dip stick in the oil can. How bout it?

Boy am I glad that Coach Julian doesn't read these message or if he does he does not do what many of you were suggesting about 6-7 weeks ago. "Scrap the wing-t and open up the attack", "get more wide recievers in the game to take some of the pressure off Dayton". Do you think for just a second that maybe Coach and his staff know a thing or two about coaching? Leave alone and jump on the wagon WITH them.

Legal play. If the holder is down when his knee is on the ground, HOW CAN YOU KICK AN EXTRA POINT OR FG? I think college rules are different, cause I just watched ESPN and LSU flipped a ball over the shulder to the kicker on a fake FG play and it scored a TD.

HTV, I never said he was disrespectful, I just said I have seen his antics/actions on the sidelines at a number of different games and I don't think that it is appropiate. Now do I think you have to stand on the sideline like a statue? No. Just an observation not meant toward you personally.

bertj, What youy are saying is true for every athletic team that has ever played a game isn't it? You seem to have taken over the blasting of coaches for qbsdad, since this is your first post. However, you did not use all caps so maybe I am totally wrong. I hear this kind of talk every day in Halls, heard it from the Central fans when they were 0-2, hearing it from carter, have even read about it from Oak Ridge fans, heard & read about from UT fans. I think all schools should hire parents as coaches so they could make all of the important decisions for a team. No, that wouldn't work. What about this...put walkie talkies in the stands and have the parents use them to let the coaching staff know what they should be doing. Wha'ya think?

Are amy schools recruiting the McMilliankid (QB) from Central? He sure looks like he can play college ball for someone.

If Lowe is respected by his coaches, he sure has had a lot of turnover in two years, wouldn't you agree? I don't know the man personally, but I have seen his antics on the sidelines at Halls, Powell, Central, Maryville and Webb and I have never seen a high school coach anywhere throw little temper tantrums like he does. Good coach? Yes. Sets a good example of how to conduct yourself on the sideline? NO.

qbsdad, Sounds like you are a disgruntled parent. Why don't you move to Halls, we had a bunch of parents like that after the loss at Central. Far too many parents live high school spports thru there kids playing sports. Grow up and let your kids play and enjoy the game without you bickering about playing time and rules and they should have done this they should have done that. Hey, you can coach if you want to - sales is not a 15 hour a day job. Do your sales in the morning and early afternoon, then get your butt to CHS and show them what they need to be doing.

This game scares the poo-poo out of me. West has always given Coach J fits and this year they might have there best team ever. Forget about the first two games, West is good and we have to play perfect to beat them, well almost perfect.
