  1. Wes has been out with a knee injury, but look for him to be on the mat any time now. He was looking good before his injury, he's been working hard at practice and looking forward to getting back on the mat. He's at 119.
  2. Hammerman: Didn't make it to the game, had to work. What happened to your boy? Hope it's not serious, those knees can be tricky. Congrats on a great win.
  3. It is unfortunate that our children have to be penalized because the current adminstration can't seem to manage their budget. I am thankful that this is our last year at THS. I too am a graduate of THS and find it very disheartening to see how the current administration has allowed our "system" to literally fall apart. A good "house cleaning" would get my vote. I know Coach Olive and his staff will make the best of a bad situation..Good Luck Wildcats.
  4. It's unfortunate when the current administration is more concerned with laying blame for the neglect than fixing the problem. The roof in the auditorium fell in last year and still has not been repaired. It is truly unfortunate.
  5. From a dad whose son wrestled heavy this year, the gap from 215 to 285 is huge. My son averaged 240 this year and giving up 45 pounds is difficult. Makes since to have a weight class half way between 215-285. Just my thoughts, which really don't count because my boy graduates this year.
  6. Sunny: You were determined from the start and it all paid off in the end. We never doubted that you were capable, just didn't know if you'd stick to it. Sure glad you did. It was very rewarding to watch you wrestle your way back to the medal rounds. Congratulations....Hard work does pay off...Way to go.
  7. Congratulations Rhea Co. boys from your friends in Tullahoma..
  8. Could not agree more Hammerman. It's been a GREAT ride. This group of seniors has definately left their mark on Tullahoma Wrestling with only good things to come. Cody we are so proud of you, you've worked hard, stayed focused, and it all paid off. Sunny and Ziad definately should be proud of themselves, they too worked hard and did what it took to medal. Congratulations Tullahoma Wrestling. The others who qualified, you too should be proud just to make it to state is something most others can only hope for. This was our senior year and very difficult to work my boy wrestle his last match, I know the other senior parents understand what I mean. Thanks to Coach Lester and Otto for your dedication and keep it going. Looking forward to being a loyal supporter next year. Congratulations CODY, ZIAD & SUNNY and Wes, Will, Dillion, Trevor, Brett and Taylor you ALL made us PROUD.
  9. COUSY..you be sure to stay awake this week...see you in the morning...
  10. You are correct about heavy. Although Roper has not lost to anyone in the region he did lose to the boy from Cookville the first match back after his surgery. Bain beat Cookville at some point this year. Don't know about Ziad.
  11. Mr. Patton: Are you sure about heavy..our heavy is returning champ. is he not first..?
  12. Well from my perspective it's my boys last region championship to participate in and it's kinda sad to see it come and go. I'm really gonna miss wrestling, it's been a great ride. Good luck to all the boys wrestling Saturday in the Region 5 Championship
  13. Mr. Patton: Thought we were starting on Friday? I could be wrong... Let us know...
