  1. I have to say im impressed. CPA winning on the road at LA and Harpeth. Im a WHITE HOUSE fan , and i would love to see Z go up against BigDaddy from White House, and i would love to see Miller go up against the Flash. White House doesn't play a hard non-district schedule this year which could come back to haunt them. CPA is obviously playing tough teams which will help them down the road. The difference i see in the teams is White House is all seniors and CPA is mainly juniors. I also think Maddox is a very good coach. All 3 of these teams could be going to state this year. But let me tell you Memphis is loaded this year in AA. Mitchell is very good and so is Dyer Co. who beat us last year in the state tourney at a shot at the buzzer. Dyer has everyone back. Also Boliver , Howard , and BTW will be very good teams this year. I believe AA will be better then AAA this year. As a matter of fact I would have CPA and WHITE HOUSE both ranked in the top 5 in the Midstate this year. I would have 1-Antioch 2-White House 3-Gallatin 4-CPA 5-Clarksville I understand Clarksville beat Gallatin by 3 tonight, but the game was at Clarksville. And i also want people to understand that White House has 13 or 14 varsity basketball players (football) out right now. I know Giltner is a great shooter, and im sure Harpeth will be better as the season goes by. But right now those (well after football is over) i think those are the best 5 in the midstate.
  2. Katelyn Armstrong had a nice varsity debut with 16 points. They have a talented freshman class. Megan played her normal solid all around game. Jamison finished with 19. They definetly have some shooters on this team.
  3. I agree it happened about 15 weeks ago and it really does'nt matter . But the fact is White House won by about 10 that day. I do know that Lipscomb had some players not there that day including the reciever Rogers. But i also know White House had some players missing that day. Also both teams probably ran 25-35 plays that day each. But that doesnt matter now. The only game that matters now is Pearl Cohn this Friday.
  4. Travis played a nice game. He's turned into a good basketball player. BUT still no Big Daddy, Flash, Tro, etc. Bigun did'nt play tonight either. When they come back look out AA teams.
  5. Congrats to "Thunder and Lightening" on their 1,000 yard seasons. And, look for the sequel next year. I agree that WH needs to pressure Mason, and get some sacks and force some turnovers to win this game. I think turnovers will ultimately decide the game. Of course im picking WHITE HOUSE against a dangerous Pearl team. WH 17 Pearl 10.
  6. WHITE HOUSE and i will explain. Jeremy Barnes 4 year varsity starter. CO-MVP of the district last year with John Jenkins. Unlimited range. Rogers Gaines- ALL STATE as a junior. Unstopable when he gets the ball down low. Great hands and great passer. Garrett Wood - Played varsity since he was a freshman. Great rebounder. Has come a long way the last few years. Could post many double -doubles this year. Zack Trobaugh-Played varsity as a Freshman. Sit out Soph year, and was 6th man last year. 5th starter could be Matt Parker, Chad Neal, Michael Travis. All are very good ballplayers. Parker is a great athlete, and so is Neal. Travis has been getting varsity minutes since his soph year and always hustles. I would also say that the trio of Gaines, Barnes, and Wood is as good as you'll find anywhere in TN. Im not saying their the best , but im very confident in saying that their AS GOOD as any TRIO you'll see this year.
  7. Giles Co. has 1 or 2 players that could be on that list, but can't remember their names. I would also add some other players that are very good players from this area in AA. Garrett Wood -White House Jeff Terrell-Station Camp ??? Caruthers-Harpeth Travis Dempsey-Sycamore
  8. MJ Brown had any D1 offers yet?
  9. Big Country what are you smoking? Barnes had 20 last year against Sycamore with about four or five 3's in the hall of fame game when White House beat Sycamore. Sycamore will be ok this year , but nothing special. Also no one matches up with Gaines from Sycamore. Sycamores perimeter players are better then White House has ever seen??? Dude ,seriously stop smoking whatever your smoking lately. I mean your football posts make some sense to me , but BBall from what your saying now you just dont have a clue.
  10. If DUNN we're 6 ft 2 everyone would be recruiting him. I've seen him play several times , and the 1 weakness he has is his 3 point shot. It's not that he's a bad shooter from 3 , it's just that at his height he's gonna have to become a great 3 point shooter at the next level. I don't see him scoring down low as much as he does now when he gets to college. Pound for Pound , and height for height he's as good as it gets.
  11. From Middle Tn area Jeremy Barnes WHITE HOUSE Rogers Gaines WHITE HOUSE John Jenkins STATION CAMP Chase Dunn LIVINGSTON ACADEMY Kevin Giltner HARPETH Zac Mason CPA Hunter Miller CPA Caleb Clayton DAVID LIPSCOMB Pierre Mitchell SYCAMORE
  12. Sycamore didn't look very good this summer in camp. Without Lohin, Harris , and Kinman I don't think they'll be as good as your hoping Big Country. The Pierre kid is a good athlete and the 6ft 2 post are good players . I think Dempsey might be the posts name. I really don't think that Sycamore can play with White House, CPA , Station Camp or probably even Harpeth. I do believe they have a good coach though so maybe he'll get them right.
  13. Actually White House finished in the "Elite 8" last year losing the 1st game of the state against Dyer County with a shot at the buzzer. It was only their 2nd state apperance in school history. White House plays Sycamore next Tuesday night in the hall of fame game, but you more then likely won't see but 2 or 3 varsity players on White House 's team that night. I think they have about 12 players on the football team that play basketball including starters Gaines, Barnes , and Trobaugh.
  14. Pearl Cohns recievers in the open field are DANGEROUS. I'll go with Pearl Cohn 27 Station Camp 17.
  15. your right. it could've been more. Polk Co. had a little speed , but they were the smallest team we played all year. No size at all.
  16. I agree. White House has a great line. I personally think that the offensive line is the most important thing about a football team. You have to control the line of scrimmage.
  17. Have you lost your mind? Not much besides GAINES huh. Well they also have a 4 year varsity starter who is the returning CO-MVP of ths district in Jeremy "THE FLASH" Barnes. They also have Garrett Wood who has played on varsity for 4 years now. Also, WH is alot deeper then last year. They are 10-12 deep this year. I don't think you'll find many teams as deep as WH this year.
  18. Yes I'll talk about it. I think THE PLAYMAKER (PARKER) will have a big game, and i also see THUNDER AND LIGHTENING (PAYNE AND DIXON) with several long runs.
  19. Hard to make a prediction when you know nothing about the opponet , but with White House at home you would think they would be favored by about 5-10 at home. Especially with our region sweeping theirs last year. I'll go with WH 30 Polk Co. 10. I expect Payne and Dixon to have big games , and I think Trox will continue his 2nd half success he had against Greenbrier to continue against Polk Co. And if all that fails we can call on Bironas. I mean Trobaugh.
  20. I agree with u 10000000 % They actually have a coach now. But will they have any class? Thats the question.
