I understand that Oliver Springs only beat Wartburg by 1 but I do not see Wartburg staying close in this game. And I understand about having pride but I also understand that it is very hard for a team to beat the same team 4 times in a year and Wartburg only beat Oakdale by what 2 points in two of the three games that they played in already I am just saying that as a former coach I would look at my teams best option to making it to Sub-State. Very good game tonight. Now if I was Coach Snow I might just take a lost to Coalfield in the cons. game Monday night so I can go up against Wartburg 1 more time in the regional. What I have seen this year Oakdale matches up much better with Wartburg than Oliver Springs so if they want a chance for Sub-state that might be their best shot. I agree District 4 should sweep District 3 in the regional the only game District 3 might win is if Greenback gets to play Coalfield in the first round.

How did Wartburg look against Pickett county? I seen they lost but how did they play. How did the new coach look?

Had my first look at a very good Coalfield team tonight. Beating Scott county 62 to 57. Very impressed with their speed and moving the ball to the open player. This team very well coached will surprise alot of teams this year.

OZ - Has the best Player do not think they will be as good as last year though. Oakdale - best overall team but not sure of their bench though. Wartburg - Best Athletes should be good but new coach should be able to go 10 deep. Sunbright - New Coach very young team very fast should upset some teams this year. Coalfield - Very talented young team should be able to play 8 deep. Oneida - Very young heard they got 2 new kids should be playing for 4th in the district. Oakdale Warburg OZ Coalfield Oneida Sunbright Oakdale, Wartburg and OZ should be playing for 1st. with Coalfield close behind

It sounds like you need to look at the tape and stand back and look at it as a fan not a parent. Harriman did start this yes BOTH teams fought and both teams should sit out several players for fighting but Harriman did do cheap shot after cheap shot. I was ashamed to have to say my family member is on Harriman I did not see him do anythin wrong but I did not see him the hole time either. The REfs SHOULD BE TO BLAME BECAUSE THEY LET IT GET OUT OF HAND. but you as a parent do not need to think that your son or team is not to blame.

Let me start off by saying I have family that plays for Harriman I do not post to much about Harriman because I do have family on that team. But last night I was ashamed to admit it because I seen several cheap shot from the Harriman players and that is not called for. The fight they should had been alot more than 2 from Coalfield and only 1 from Harriman ejected. I was hoping just for a great game from 2 very good football teams but that is not what we got. The Refs should had taken control of this game sooner maybe the fight would had not had happen. But I do agree that Harriman did start this and they did not need to because they were out playing Coalfield and still would had won. I hope both coaches sits more kids out next week to show them they can not act the way they did last night.

I have heard that all of the coaches at Coalfield tells their players this I should had quit or I going to quit. That is a great message your teaching those kids if you dont get it your way just quit. And I do not know if it is true about a player talking back to the coach but if it is true the kids should be off the team. Coalfield is all about who you are the rules are not the same for everyone and that is a shame. I hope they get a princpal soon that might help down there get some respet back. How many kids from your area went to Murfressboro this past Sunday to play in the Junior National's All-State comp. Their were some great games and some very good players down their this past Sunday. The Tennessee All-State team will be picked next week for these girls to play in July 23-29 in Ohio against teams all over the US. I would hate to be the one having to pick because I did not see anyone that did could not be put on this team. Best of luck to all the girls that was there.

Reading this and with the rumor about Kayla might be going to Webb, Coalfield might have a shot at the distict along with Oakdale and Warburg. Because if she leaves the mighty OZ will be no more.

This might be her only chance to get a ring and bring home a gold ball if she goes to Webb. I do not see OZ making it back to the state the next 2 years. Kayla is a great ball player but she will not have the supporting cast at OZ to take her back to the Boro.

I am not going to say what school but I would like to know something. If a player makes an F on her report card during the season what is the rule? I know of a school that let a player play that made an F on her grade card Is it just the semster grade that counts or 9 weeks grade. If this is true witch I think it is I have lost alot of respect for this coach and school.

I have no dog in this but I do not understand why so much talk about this? Has Dallas ever won the regional or been to the state in his term has the coach? The new coach must know coaching high school is different than coaching Middle school but he will learn how I am sure that Wartburg does not pay much for coaching so who would you want? Let this guy try and stand behind him if after a few years he can not win then start trying to get a new coach. People on here been saying that the school broard members done this well vote them out the next election if you do not like what they have done. On paper Wartburg should have a very good team next year but they should had won more games this year also so give this guy a chance.

In a few years you will be able to watch here on TV at a D-1 School because she is that good. I hope she keeps a level head and stays focus she is special to watch on the court.

At the start of the season, I thought this might be Oneida year they played real well then the hit the wall and they might have a great game and the next one it was like it was a different team playing. But they best of luck to the girls in what ever they do.

So does the girls and boys both play on Saturday? Who may the all district for the boys teams?

Clarkrange for a young team play like they are focus and that might mean another GOLD ball up there.

Rockwood will have a very good outside shot at bring the ball home this year even though they had a tough lost this past week against a solid Wartburg team. That may help them focus on what is ahead.

The list looks good to me I would add the Smith girl from Oliver springs to it though. Is this the all district team?

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I will talk to my daughter and tell her she needs to talk to her coaches about her concerns and that way the coaches know maybe they do not see that it is bothering her. Thanks again.
