I was really surprised to hear that Brandon was thinking of sitting out his senior season anyways. I know that your body gets physically tired from year round soccer for years, i have been doing it as well. But, for someone that is going to pursue an opportunity to play at the next level, wouldnt you want to play. So you have the best chance of winning a starting spot as a freshman. Also, i was surprised because i would think coach Berson would want his players to always play with the ball. So, good choice by Brandon to play his senior season and good luck to CAK.

One was to Tanner for a hard challenge that deserved a yellow. Another one was to Cody for talking to his players after they scored, but the ref for some reason thought he was talking to him. Another was to Ben for jogging back on defence next to the spot of a free kick. And the only other one i can remember is to Tanner where he did the same thing as Ben.

Yes they played Alcoa. The score was 3 to 0 for the first half when both teams played straight up. Then in the second half new players were brought.

We will see tomorrow if the rankings don't do south doyle justice, because they scrimmage west at south doyle. This will be a good warm up game for both teams because both will be anxious to start their seasons well even though its just a scrimmage.

Wow looks like someone goes to jp2 because i have only heard of one of those players and i would not consider him in the top of the junior class. But i would agree with houston and jonah. Also some others are alex hutchins from webb, tyler gibson from catholic, mark sherrod from carter, and ryan wilson the goalie for oak ridge.

I agree brian is an excellent player. He can play multiple positions including center mid and center back. If you watch a game you don't notice all the great things he does, he makes the players around him better. He is being heavily recruited by navy and will most likely go there.

West is only losing two starters a left back and a sweeper. They should be pretty good next year.

i have played on astroturf for a couple of games in ashville nc. I really like it, the ball is really fast on the surface, it doesn't hurt to slide tackle, and it has some cushion for your feet. As far as the heat im not sure because i played in the fall.

This is going to be a good game. i think bearden will win 2-0. Goals by tom and aaron. I dont see catholic having much offense.

I was at the game and it was a well played game by both teams. The first half was probably even with great chances from both teams. The second half farragut played very well and controlled the ball. You could see the west players getting tired as the game wore on. There were some close chances for farragut in the last 10 minutes.

This is going a good game to watch. Im saying 1-1 tie.
