AE guard play must have been good tonight.... ha ha.. I told you turtle. These two teams are in different leagues. Not even close.

I didn't attend Bearden or Fulton. I have been watching them for the past 4 years. First off you can have all the talent in the world and it means nothing. Blevins is a bad coach too. Bearden doesn't have near the talent those teams from west tn has. They are big but those teams out west like white station and ridgeway have about 10 guys that are 6'4 or taller and are a lot quicker. Do I think Coach Wright could win at Bearden? I would say probably not but good chance. Bearden can not win it in AAA. Too much talent out west I'm not jumping band wagon. I'm not a fan of Bearden at all and believe they are overrated. But AE is overrated as well. They do have athletes no question about that but they can't compete with the teams in AAA in East Tennessee. Maybe some local AAA teams but not in all of East Tn. AE is not even the best team in their district or even region. Fulton is. They have the best two players in the area and the best coach in the area. But to say the likes of AE being on the same level of Bearden is not even close. Bearden is athletic as well and are MUCH bigger. Lopez is the only one who has advantage in the game because of the small point guard Bearden has. The point guard is qucker than Lopez but smaller and cant shoot. And I say again Lopez cant go right because its true. It doesnt matter to me if he is family or not..facts are facts. Downtown24 so if coaching is an after thought if you have as much talent as AE then why didnt they win it last year? they had a better team? Whats the problem? Coaching is the problem. Coaching is important. Look at memphis mitchell last year. They had a lot more talent than Fulton but they managed too lose because that coach did a terrible job. How do you not see that>? Guys AE has all kinds of talent but until they make the necessary changes in the coaching staff they will be playing second fiddle to a lot of teams in AA.

Pryor is the most overrated player I have seen in this area. not saying the players at Bearden are not. But outmatched completely besides point guard. Both Pryor and Simpson are weak as water but Simpson is better than Pryor. Both have ###### poor attitudes and will not make it at next level unless its a small small small school. I could care less who wins but I have seen both play and AE is outmatched. Lopez is not the best point guard in this area either. He cant dribble right. What are you talking about indiangiver? Watch em play and you can see that. AE would have not been in the state last year in AAA. These are crazy comments and they do not have a prayer to win the AA this year. They are not even close to being as good as they were last year. Please watch them play before making comments like this. Big Jones is athletic but cant shoot a lick and will not be able to score. Little jones is the best player on the team and can do it but rest of the team is average this year, very athletic but still play for the coach who can't get it done. If coach Wright was at AE the sky would be the limit but you guys have to deel with charles. sorry guys

Bearden by 10+ points. Bearden is better at every position besides the point guard. Book it!

I respect your opinion here and will say that Midway has the best pitcher in the county. She can bring it. I have watched her pitch for the past two years and she is great. But if you look at the stats kingston out hit Midway, the pitcher had more strikeouts as well. No disrespect at all to collier b.c she is great but kingston has a little more talent all around and is the better team. Kingston plays in AA which will explain some of their loses. Midway plays in A and around here not very strong. They are by far the best team in A in this area. And im sure they will make it back to state because they are good. Kingston had it bases loadetd in the bottom of the 5th with one out and couldnt score. I do not see how you can possibly thing that Midway was the best team here but i do respect your opinion. Best of luck to both teams. Jessica Korb is the new pitcher. Catholic beat kingston 4-3 in the first game and then Kingston beat Catholic 13-3 in the next.

Actualy she only had 12 and lost the game. the Kingston pitcher had 10 and won. The pitcher from Coalfield is great pitcher and decent hitter. They still have to compete with Midway and Oliver Springs.

As i predicted yesterday Fulton would win this game over LA. I did not think it would be like this though. Fulton does have the potential to run teams out of the gym but i didnt believe it would happen here. Fulton can shoot lights out from 3-pt land and thats what they do best. Steele and Gallam are players and minor is a player as well. The point guard lets just say he is quick and if he hits shots its going to be a long night for the opponent. Good luck to Fulton in the next round. LA congrats on a great year.

I have seen both of these teams play and both teams are very talented and are good teams. I will have to give the edge to fulton because the three guards are quick. Not saying LA are not but Fulton has a step on them. Fulton will not hurt in size down low, yes they are smaller but those boyz downlow can shoot the three better than the guards can. I know those big boys downlow for LA can not guard either one of them. This game will come down to free throws, turnovers, rebounds. I like fulton in all of those categories. I say Fulton wins this game but i would not be surprised to see LA win though. This might be the best matchup of the first round. Good luck to both teams. I know LA fans say that their big men will dominate the big men for fulton. But keep in mind AE has two bigs down low at 6'7 and 6'6 monsters who are athletic as they come. They contained them as well. Fulton played bearden close two games and they only have 1 guy under 6'4. Size down low will not matter much. The LA big men will have to come out to perimeter and guard the big men from shooting the three. LA guard play is outstanding and they DO NOT make mistakes. Very well coached team. I do not think they big men down low are that great but they do get the job done which is all that matters. Athleticism is on Fultons side but the LA boys are pretty athletic as well. Coach Wright at fulton might be the best coach in the state which should make for a great game. Again, good luck to both teams!

Ha ha thats really funny. Not even close. Watched Red Bank play last night against White County which is a good team. Red bank is athletic but not even close to Oak Ridge. Little different whne your not playing at home. DB beat Bearden and Bearden is more athletic than OR. Please explain to me how you think that? By the way OR and Bearden and more than likely DB are better than WC. Good try though. Red Bank will play one game and lose. Thanks for participating

Well i wasnt actually at the game but i have seen them play numerous times. Here is my thought. They were out COACHED because the coach there doesnt do a very good job. They were out hustled as well. And im pretty sure they gave up as well because they tend to do that. Congrats to Fulton!

Those guards at Bearden couldnt get it across half court during the 12-0 run.

I agree that it is hard to beat a good team three times in the same year. But Maryville does have one of the best coaches in the state. So i will give them the advantage.

Actually you can not be even farther than the truth, Loudon has locked up either first or second in the district. Loudon beat anderson and beat catholic twice. Stone lost to catholic and lost to anderson. Catholic beat stone. Anderson has locked up first or second as well depending on if Loudon beats stone or not. Look at the standing and who beat who.

Im not loudon fan by no means but i have read so many boards about how Stone is going to win the district and how they are the best team. If i am correct, and correct me if im wrong but didnt they lock up 4th place in the district?
