McCallie stays in this one for a while as long as they can pick on the short Baylor secondary. Keenon Hale has to have a great game, still not sure why Syracuse is taking him but maybe he can prove me wrong. I predict the typical nickel and diming it down the field from them. If McCallie cant throw the ball, they're wont run it well either. They dont have a back. A high scoring game if McCallie has success through the air because Baylor will keep up. It is actually growing. Red bank graduated a world of talent. So once again, signal proves nothing. I will say this- they executed well and did their job. The first season was a jv schedule what a joke just quit kidding yourself. Yall could have swollowed the medicine and played a varsity schedule like East Hamilton. Move up from the johnny junior high classification and then start talking. Great- yall won games- but dont bask in the glory when you should realize who your playing. 7 on 7s? congratulations who was in that one? Ya'll lost to soddy daisy in the final anyways. 7 on 7's count for nothing. Anybody that puts stock in that is wasting their time. It is an absolute joke how much attention the signal mountain football programs gets. And for what reason? Im not sure. A hilarious JV season. That town might as well of been talking up the middle school team. then last year. But the chattanooga times makes it seem like they're favored to with the sec east. No- its 2a football. Aka the Sun belt of high school football in tennessee. Im sorry if ive offended any signal players or fans. This is a shot at the free press.

Baylor, after getting handed a 14 point loss just a little over a week ago, comes back with a huge win on McCallie's homecourt. Seemed like red just wanted it a little more than the much more loaded with talent blue squad. Can the raiders bring this same intensity with the rest of the league play left on the schedule and possibly shake up the state tournament scenario?

Baylor has been a team that has come out slow in games all year long with the excpetion of only a couple. But there will be no lack of motivation for this game. They need to play an almost perfect game to beat MUS. Size will always be an issue so if red can get their speed in space they will have a better shot. Baylor has had trouble scoring in the redzone lately. No turnovers. Got to win the field position game. MUS has the state's longest active winning streak (23 I believe)- they are due. Baylor has nothing to lose.

Tornadofan10, I give you this. You are fiercely loyal and consistent in your predictions. Possible long lost relative of bluemom. But slightly less realistic in his predictions. But lets get back to the game.....

Won easily? Thats the best mccallie's played all year. They were lucky to play them that close. MBA is no cupcake. They had many opportunities to score but McCallie got some breaks near the redzone.

Nd-almost everyone in chattanooga not affiliated with McCallie is pulling for Baylor. Baylor has more playmakers but mccallie has a better line. If baylor gets their speed to the corners, they'll find success. Their passing game also has to click. I'll admit mccallie is better than a lot of people think. As far as comparing tyner games- the issue of turnovers seems to be a hot topic. They are created by the defense. If McCallie is able to nickel and dime their way down the field like usual (not bashing them, just saying their method works) and have long sustained drives, they'll be able to keep sam williams, pinkstaff, huesnman and company off the field. If you hoping for a blowout you won't see one. This one will be decided by 10 or fewer. It will be interesting to see if mccallie will continue to make op for their lack of playmakers by having good technique. And if your basing your predictions on the mba games for both teams, your wasting your time. MBA's td drives were from baylor's 20 and 25. They were held scoreless in the second half and the last part of the 2nd quarter. If baylor loses it wont due to lack of preparation. Both teams know they are going to win, thats the attitude you have to take so dont put up that ridiculous quote about how baylor only hopes to win. It makes baylor sound like a bunch of 4th graders.
