Idk but EHS is small they lost a lot of size from last year and their biggest lineman hurt his knee pre season and was lost.

I see where they lost 5 games and 4 of them was to Gibson County.

Elizabethton won by 3. Fritz and Bowling played good for EHS. #25 and #20 for Gibbs were awesome. # 25 fouled out and they missed a few shots in the 4th but them girls can play. I guess Dugger proved he is the best coach in the School right now even if the higher ups do not like him.

Elizabethton has concrete stands on both sides and we will let them stand along the fence behind both endzones 8 or 10 or whatever deep. At Greeneville the visitors side has metal bleachers and that is a safety concern if to many people are on them. I am not sure about the home side. You can stand at one end of the stadium but the other end has the clubhouse so a lot of people will be left out.

About the stadium it is nice except on the visitors side next to the concession stand if you set at the end of the bleachers they have 2 or 3 trees right in the way that blocks some of the field. Why are the trees there? You pay to get in and then you cannot see.

They are ok. Their defense is not any good but they can score. Onething to remember they are the best team in Carter County but that is not saying much. They are the only team in the county that can throw the ball and defend the pass a little. Cloudland and Happy Valley have learned that you can throw the ball in football. That will help them in the future.

Elizabethton gets nothing out of playing them. All they can do is lose. This new 6a format has ruined teams in Upper NET.

The district 1 AA is awful. Look at the teams. Elizabethton should win it every year. Their AD can get on the Sports Monster and run his mouth about how this new system will help Elizabethton but when the stands are empty then ask him. Alcoa is waiting and they have it made.

Why do High School football have rankings? Sports writers from a paper vote and all they see is teams in their district. People that vote in NETN have no clue what teams have from Jefferson County to Memphis. There should never be a team from NETN ranked # 1 anyway because they get beat in the playoffs every year. Every year DB is # 1 and gets beat but if you could see every 5a game in the state then you would know DB was not close to being the best team in the state.

The turnover was huge and Elizabethton's defense could not get off the field. I think Greeneville punted onetime. Good luck to greeneville agaist TH High. If EHS does not get any better on defense next year then there is no hope of having a good year no matter what teams they get to play.

The rain usually helps the underdog and EHS needs all the help they can get. They have to win to control their playoff destiny and their chances of winning are about 1 in 500,000.

On the EHS defense they have an Ex Happy Valley coach. Why do they hire all the ex HV guys? They have not been good in 10 years and they cannot coach and he left HV high and dry like 3 days before practice started. EHS needs some older coaches that have coached against good teams. Right now I think Witten does a good job but he needs good coaches helping him not just his buddies.

South wins big. If Johnson County wins out then North, JC and Elizabethton all will be 4-3 in the conference. They all beat each other so what 2 teams go to the playoffs? Elizabethton will have the worse overall record.
