Well by the way these Central fans are talking, McMinn Central "Maybe" our Region Fav. this year. They will figure it out come tonight when them Mighty Tigers beat them. Sequoyah has a chance at them too next Friday. Polk and East Ridge will be the game to watch or Howard and Notre Dame. I think Polk will beat E.R. and Howard over N.D. Good Luck to all teams

I agree 100%. Coach Derrick Davis keeps what he says. I respect the man more than anything and to the other Coach Derrick. Could care less. On Oct. 26 when the Cats and Chargers face off, we'll see then.

Very true. I would go out to the baseball field and work out over the summer and I'd look over at the football field and Mike and his father would be out there kicking. He would warm up with extra points then go to kick offs then field goals then he would punt. He would do this almost every day of the week. Mike also went to Vandy for the spring game. He also receives many of letters from UTK, South Carolina, Auburn, Mich. St. and Vandy. He is a terrific man, he is one of my best friends and a team couldn't ask for a better player/young man. The game is at 7:30 and to all of the East Ridge fans. The tailgate party begins at 5:00 Friday, the special for this Friday is shrimp and burgers. Come up and eat with us before the game if ya feel like it. L.G.D. will be packed come kickoff time, but hey i'm about to watch Ga. Tech kill N.D. so i'll get back on later. Go Polk... P.S. I was in Decatur last night, and it was a great game. Boyd had it in their pockets if they'd hit that field goal towards the end. It was an awesome game. however, Meigs must now continue their domination over the ALMIGHTY Chargers. Central is coming off of a big win over single A Oliver Springs and they are looking for redemption however, I don't think they will achieve that this year. Maybe next year. Meigs by 14

Polk County has dominated the Pioneers the past 2 years, are the Pioneers looking for revenge or will the Wildcats continue the tradition of Wildcat Football? Polk County is coming in off of a bye week, and East Ridge coming off of a very big win over Chatt Central. The Wildcats have Haden Browder on their side this year with a very good arm and the Pioneers have revenge on their side. I think Polk County will end up winning in a very close game. Polk by 8

Well, i'm probably one of the one's he is talking about and everyone knows who I am and Coach D. and myself are cool, and I've not said anything bad, and I dont plan to just because everything is settled in. But i am going to calm down a bit on here right now just to keep everything cool..

everyone must be overlooking that 25-20 loss to a very weak single A team. E.R. has their first true test next Friday in Benton, Tn. That is gonna be one of the best games this year in my opinion just due to the fact Polk has owned East Ridge the past 2 years, and E.R. is looking for redemption.

Face it, right now Meigs and Polk both own McMInn Central, Polk has beaten Central 8 straight times. and Polk has beaten Meigs 7 of the last 8 times, so until Central beats Polk or Meigs at least consecutive times. face it... WE BOTH OWN YOU!!!!

ok first of all, this may be a good test for Central because O.S. isn't that good. Now to Meigs, if you all actually think your going to beat meigs, your crazy! Ok What about last year when Polk County's student section, tried crowding YOUR field last year after YOUR loss, and the whole Central team INCLUDING COACH DERRICK and other staff members came after them. WHAT CLASS! Now that is what is called NO DISCIPLINE! Come this year, when Central and Polk plays, and "IF" Polk wins, then what is Central's players and coaches gonna do when Polk's students crowd the field and it's at Polk??????????????????????????????????????????? Yep, well the Wildcats were there I believe in 2004, and where have the Chargers been in this Century???? Oh yea, that's right while Polk was playing, yall were in Englewood at the house. And I guarantee you, if Central was to upset Polk, the Chargers Student Section will try and rush the field too.
