  1. I think the four seeded teams will be Riverdale, Smyrna, LaVergne, and Lebanon. I don't have those in any particular order, because really, it's 4-5a: anything can happen haha.
  2. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
  3. Good to hear he's gonna' be playing. I haven't talked to him since last year in drama.
  4. So basically you just dismantled all of your arguments and rendered this thread useless. Hooray for the internet.
  5. That's what you continue to reference to: "blah blah we practice and do 3-a-days in 100 degree heat". Everyone practices. And by your definition of sport, skateboarding, blading, surfing, diving, figure skating, bobsledding, diving (for the most part, Olympic events), and many other activities aren't sports. Oh, and by the way, I would hardly call debating with someone "crying".
  6. Riverdale LaVergne Wilson Central Smyrna Franklin Cookeville Eagleville Dobyns-Bennet Antioch
  7. Physically demanding and competeing. Loads of practice. Oh, and before you say something like "see who gets the most crowd" stuff, don't. The popularity of said events is irrelevent. That's not the point of this thread.
  8. Hillwood actually scored on some of LaVergne's 2nd and 3rd stringers on a long pass with about a minute left, if that.
  9. Dude, don't start anything with Smyrna. LaVergne needs to wait to worry about them when they have to, and that's almost two months away. You take one game at a time.
  10. I'll take LaVergne in a close one. Although after last year's match-up between the two teams, you never know what will happen.
  11. That's the only attitude to have. Another outstanding game by Tillery. 204 yards on 18 carries, two touchdowns.
  12. Aren't they like..1-20 since 2005? Averaging 3.3 points per game or something? Not sure if those are correct.
  13. Oakland Glencliff LaVergne Lebanon Riverdale Smyrna Blackman Wilson Central Maryville Hendersonville
  14. So this thread has officially been derailed for the most part. While we're on the subject of Oakland and LaVergne. Man, that was my favorite game last year. Coldest, too.
  15. Who ya' got? I'm really excited to see Crocker play again after his performance against Blackman last night.
  16. Yeah, about 20 or 30 of Blackman's fans had to sit on the LaVergne (well, didn't have to) because of such limited room. Tempers were rising, not gonna' lie. haha
  17. Tillery played great - 150 yards, 8.3 yard average. So proud of Crocker's performance, and the receivers are astounding. It's good to know we have solid threats in both passing and rushing. Not to take away from Blackman, though. They played great as well. 2 of the last 3 meetings with Blackman have been great games. A double-overtime appearance in '05, and a game that wasn't decided until the final seconds last night. I mean, 52-10 was great last year, but not for both teams. Blackman has showed major improvement.
  18. I know, I know. LaVergne native, baby. You think I missed the opening game of the season? psshhh. lol, shoulda' got there a little earlier. Got there at like 7:30 and didn't get in 'till after kickoff at 8.
  19. Going to play LaVergne next week. Hopefully they can fix some things and make it a better game. Hopefully.
  20. LaVergne - scored, called back, fumble on the three-yard line recovered by Blackman. Blackman - touchdown LaVergne - touchdown, extra point missed LaVergne - touchdown, extra point blocked LaVergne - field goal, 41 yard. Blackman - touchdown, two-pt conv. successful LaVergne - touchdown (around 20 or 30 seconds left) F: LaVergne - 22, Blackman - 15 Both teams played well. Crocker looked HOT. I was very excited and pleased to see his passing game. Tillery tore it up as usual.
