Again you know all, the fact still remains and I could care less if Fulton recruits every kid in Knoxville, if that is what they have to do then great, if that is what works, every program has some type of recruiting happening, as I said in one of my other post I wish we could do it but no one wants to come to a loser to try and build a winner but, we don't have the best recruiting guys coaching the youth either, maybe we could hire yours.

Well say what you will, I could care less what you think the fact still remains, hey the reason you get pissed is because you know its true, you guys get on here and act like you have all the answers but, the facts are the facts and the only reason there as been nothing done about it is the TSSAA as no control over rec league programs, EVERYONE in Knox county knows it happens, it is talked about every year at the youth fields and everyone just laughes knowing it won't change, hey I could care less but, don't try to hyde behind your bs, own up, UT does.by the way don't you get all the good ones from AE?.

Well those kids were great HS players in the Offense they ran but, now they are playing with guys that can cover, window much smaller and you have to be able to zip that balI in smaller windows. We were at the Grace CAK game last year and a guy that was there looking at High said he just doesn't have the arm strength to play QB at the next level, I argued the point that this kid broke records, his reply was the kid is a great HS player but just doesn't have the tools, I later found out that night this guy was from Rivals.Wish the kid the best.

Grace is one of those programs that got caught recruiting and paying someone's way, so yes I am sure those kids went there since grade school, word is there is some more snooping around the Rams program for other recruitments, when Karns scrimmaged Grace in the spring they had a group of recruits standing on the sidelines, a couple from Rockwood or somewhere like that but, hey I'm just pissed because we can't recruit anyone with our record.

Oh I forgot you guys call it project grad, either way you should be proud of the recruiting job you guys do heck UT pays big money for their recruiter's as many schools do, hey if you can get by with it why not who cares if everyone knows it because we all know TSSAA isn't going to deal with it because it just opens up to many cans of worms and they would have to work for all that money that comes in.

Yes I did say Fulton for as many as they wanted, I was giving Catholic their due but, to answer your question I wasn't for either team, it was a good game between the two best recruited teams in Knox County, made for a good game .

Yea that is what we need is the guy he hired after getting rid of Helton, the AD at Central is the old AD from Karns, so that would make sense for us to hire a guy that couldn't win games with more talent then Karns has and was fired just one year in with the new AD, this makes PERFECT KARNS SENSE.

7AAA should have another great run to the semi state next year until the Maryville game 10 years Maryville has beaten the best 7 AAA has to offer and there still is little respect, I AM not a Maryville fan but, did attend the game Friday night and was blown away by how many of the Blackmon fans were saying Maryville hasn't played anyone, they aren't that good, we play in the SEC of high school football. 7 AAA needs to learn that you can't be the guy until you beat the guy and 7 AAA has not been able to do that for TEN 10 ten YEARS, no matter how you write it Maryville has dominated, you always have next year, good luck to the semi state, they do give you guys a plaque for that right?

We all just don't understand the season as been over for five weeks at Karns, no communication on what is going on what they are looking for, why the team is not being worked out, what is the direction, its pretty sad that there as been no communication on any of these things to parents, as one post said losing weight training and really just any type of excitement you may have to get kids working for next year. I don't think the community realing cares that's why there has not been anyone asking questions, if you had this going on at allot of other schools folks would be out for blood but, at Karns we just say there is a process, we follow all the processes other then building a winning program.

Fulton by as many as they want, Catholic has had a very easy track to the semi's with most of the teams except Singal Mountain, Fulton will win by at least 4 td's maybe 5.

Really appreciate the BS guys thanks, A11 outlawed, I guess when you can't get out of your own way these are the types of post you get, on a serious note the word is they are close to naming a new coach, has anyone heard anything? I think a new coach is great but when is a new coach going to come in and change the culture? until then bring the father himelf and you still don't win. In speaking to a few of the youth coaches they say that parents come up with every excuse under the sun NOT to practice, it's to hot, it's raining, it's this, it's that, until that changes and the kids are tought that commitment to winning takes hard work at every level and it starts in the youth not the HS it's going to be tough to win there, never mind the kids that continue to go somewhere other then Karns when they are suppose to be there...

Who is it going to be any rumors? heard they are staying pretty quite but, I also heard they have their guy, so does anyone have a clue?????

They have had one good season come on lets see what they do next year at cc, oh yea they probably won't be there as they know they have one good class and next year will be much the same, no further then second round or until they see West, I will be one to say Karns needs coaches but this community needs to learn how to support the program regardless of coaches its about the kids NOT coaches and from what everyone as to say about the ego twins is just that ,it's all about them and that comes from allot of folks all over Knox county.

Not sure the ego twins would be welcome at Karns, from the talk in the stands fans would rather keep what we have then have those guys here, just relaying what was being said, the word is they have their eyes on three guys not sure its true but that is what is being said one being a college coach at the lower level.

Looks like Catholic is back to reality, Alcoa not Coalfield, Scott County or a rebuilding CAK, bet the radio guys will make sure we hear all about the injuries that the Gold dommers have,

That was the name but from what people were saying he isn't big on disipline and Karns needs a guy that coaches with a position of you will do, not do as you will, Karns just has way to many players that miss practice and then play on Friday but, if the coach held out all the kids that miss every week we would always have a couple of starters not playing. One of the kids said a team mate missed every week at least one practice and sometimes two but would play every Friday and the same kid quit during week 7, it just seems we need a guy that will enforce something and not a guy that wants to win at ALL COST, maybe this guy would do that.

Karns will post job soon and release all the coaches as they were here on a interim bases, from what is being said maybe a couple guys from this staff may return but overall it will mostly be new, my take is a new coach doesn't fix all our issues we have had more new coaches then any Knox County school and we have basically the same outcome year after year, I over heard a Gibbs fan say there must be something in the water out here at Karns maybe its something in the community either way new hire will have the same issues as this staff had some good players but no depth and as soon as you have a couple key players go out with injuries as we had this year there will no one to step up. We counted 30 kids on the sideline at CC for a 5A program, so even if a new coach is GQ himeself if you don't find some depth you will have the same out come. Word is though its going to be the old DC from Powell...

Karns does have some talent but what talent they have was mostly on the bench with injuries this year I was told at one time we had 9 starters and 2 others that would play allot on the bench with injuries, we hold kids out for bruises its the craziest thing, as far as a young coach Karns needs a guy that will put some DISIPLINE in these kids not try to be cool with them, the talk last night was we had 3 starters 2 seniors, 1 Jr quit week 6 and 7 because they didn't want to be on a losing team, really those are some of the underlying issues our school has. I for one hope they get a coach and keep him for at least 4 years...

Wow another 1-9 season, well the word is ALL coaches will be gone and a whole new staff coming in, my question is how many new coaches have we had and how many turned the program around? we have way deeper issues then just coaching, our freshman class/team has very very limited talent and from what I could tell this year we had no depth, I guess the new staff coming in will take us above our average three win season for the past 40 years, R.I.P Karns football, going to have an find a different team to support, just to painful...

38 I will as well say some of my replies are probably more out of being upset year after year, you know I set and watch our team and its pretty clear we have issues other then coaching, it seems we always win the injury battle I know other teams have injuries as well but, we are always having some of our best talent standing on the sideline, I guess my being upset about the CC thing is we have been on the tail end of those so many times, Please accept my apologizes both to you and the OR guy I was going back and forth with, I wish all the teams success, just wish we could get a little... I think we are going in a good direction with some of the team and some areas still need work, well maybe next year.

No the other teams actually call the dogs off AC did when they got up on us, if Karns would not have had so many injuries this year they would have won a few games I COULD ONLY HOPE that the ego brothers never come to Karns as I would rather lose every game then have our young men be guided by coaches that forget the real reason for coaching, 38 I can careless how you feel about the Ego twins the facts are still they left their starters in and threw a deep pass with 2 min left in a game they were winning 49 to 0, win state for all I care but have some class when doing it.

38 FACTS ARE THE FACTS, I am a Karns alumni, but, I like allot of teams in the area, CC has no class thats the facts and you can call me what ever you want but keeping your starters in and throwing when you up by 49 either it's ego or just being classless, in this case probably a little of both, someone said in a earlier post that CC throws the ball, you mean to tell me they can't run the ball at all, come on, call me what ever, like I said the facts are the facts, CLASSLESS OR EGO take your pick, Don't get your feelings hurt because your coaches don't know how to take success,its great for the kids to have a successful year and I would love for the Beavers to have that as well but if the coaches at Karns done the same as CC did at Halls I would say the same thing about them , PERIOD now you sit down and enjoy your run until the playoffs probably second round as you will probably get a district team you can beat.
