  1. Ok. You talked me into it. I will say Clinton by 20, but they play it on the field for a reason.
  2. No way does Clinton win by 60+. I believe you are letting your emotions rule your thoughts. If the players buy into your foolishness, the Dragons may get surprised Fri. nite in Fountain City.
  3. I have seen both teams play and I believe Farragut has a good chance of winning a State Championship as does Maryville. I would hang on to my money.
  4. That's funny about the glasses. The Red Devils were very impressive. I'll root for them every game except Sept. 5. BTW it was great to see Fulton get hammered after the way they disrespected our goalpost last night.
  5. Are you sure Halls was the best team of the night? How can you tell?
  6. Nice use of colors Splains. Any particular reason it will be one team's defense against other team's offense? Is Stanton ready for the Bobcats?
  7. Central has 4 tailbacks with tremendous speed and ability. One, Saah, didn't play last year due to injury. Look for Reevey to help out at TB. Everybody knows what Jamie can do if he stays healthy. McMillan and Jarvis Allen are very capable receivers. In fact, they understand the "team" concept. Our defense will be improved over last year. Our kicker, Miller, is quite good. I probably should list the whole team since the attitude of the whole team just got better.
  8. Jamie doesn't have to do it all. Stop putting pressure on one kid. Football is a team sport and Styles had a problem understanding that. Central will play much better this year with a "team" mentality. I am embarrassed as a high school football fan at some of the comments made on this site. If Styles wants to go to Fulton, let him go in peace.
  9. This topic has been started before. Seems no one wants to talk about it. I wonder why?
  10. Maryville needs to worry about Halls not MBA
  11. No way does Central finish 7th, but I probably am biased.
  12. I was hoping to see more predictions on this thread. 1 Maryville 2 Halls 3 Central 4 Powell
  13. You must have been at a different scrimmage. Central's first team dominated AE's first team. And your attempt at humor was lame.
  14. QB was Holbert mostly with Mills filling in. Wilson did not play due to a slight injury I believe. One other starter, DT Reliford, is still recovering from knee surgery, but will be good to go in fall. Styles looked good at receiver and LB. Defense was really strong even with 2 starters out. No Red and Black game as spring practice is over. Wilson will be a tough one to tackle in the fall.
  15. Any thoughts about last night's scrimmage with AE? Central's ones on defense played well at times. Offense showed spark, but the weather hampered.
  16. I couldn't care less about interest outside of the program. We play for Central, not for people who have nothing better to do but talk about rumors and transfers. We scrimmage AE on Thur. The numbers may be small, but the heart is large.
  17. There is a lot of interest in the football program. We are watching the team develop this spring into what will hopefully be a good product on the field this fall. Several athletes, not just two. Stay tuned.
  18. It operated more like a camp than a combine. One on one drills mostly. There were a few Central kids there as well. I saw several D1 prospects.
  19. Which contributors are unhappy at Central? What rumors?
  20. You are wrong. The Bobcats will win this ballgame. Central held SD to 1 TD until under 1 min to go in regulation. The other points came in the OTs where it was evident that the Bobcats were not going to win. This may not be the team fans are accustomed to seeing, but the Bobcats can still get 2nd in the district with wins over Powell, Clinton, & West.
