Please dont rekindle this!!!!! Just so you know, "the firm" are a bunch of kids you are from Soddy Daisy.....apparently they were raising heck at the Page tourny. This has since caused a 2 weeks argument as to what is good or bad cheering. To be honest its a dead horse and its been hit by about 106-18-Wheelers

I cant believe that this has really been debated for so long. Im sorry but stomping the bleachers and yelling at the server is not wrong nor is it unsporting. You tell me how that is unsporting when you can sit behind the backboard of a basketball game and wave flags while screaming your lungs out. Kinda seems like the same thing to me. This is high school athletics and its about the kids. Let them cheer and so long as they do not scream directly at the player by calling her name or number then let it be. GLJ your best asset may very well be your biggest demise. You know the rules, you understand the game. You just need to loosen up man. Kids are gonna yell and fans are gonna stomp the bleachers. Thats totally ok to do!

I dont agree that stomping the bleachers is an artificial noisemaker. I want to see it in the guidelines before I believe it.

Are you kidding me your gonna break their arms for "yelling when the girls are serving"..........you need to chill out! There are no rules against yelling when someone serves. You sit directly behind someone serving and yell as loud as you want, just so long as you are not directing anything negative or personal at that person. I cant believe that you guys are so clueless on how badly this sport needs fan support. Students from the school yelling when the opponents team is serving is not "arm breaking worthy". The nice BOOB and Lesbian Comments certainly are. If I were ever at a gym and heard that I too would be in line to break some arms. Let the fans be fans....ITS WHAT HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS IS ALL ABOUT PEOPLE

I love Greebrier and all their fans and parents.....the only problem that I have with Greenbrier is the "flashing lights into the receiving teams eyes" I have heard that this has been a problem. Sportsmanship is key in High School Athletics. If the Flashing bulbs rumor is true I just hope that the officials take care of it.

I think you have like 12,000 post on this board and if I had to bet I would say that 11,175 of them are asking what teams and whats the schedule? With all due respect to every tourney in the State of TN....(Ryan, Choo-Choo, The State Tourney, and every single district tourney).....this is by far the best tournament that this state has seen in years. I have been around for some time and I have not seen this kind of competition since Brentwood used to have the b*lls to schedule Alabama and Kentucky teams at their tournament. I am super excited to come and watch this weekend. I cant believe the amount of teams that are coming to Middle TN this weekend. I personally cant wait to see Dobb Bennent, Stone Memorial, Ootewal whatever, and GPS. This weekend is going to be fantastic. Oh and after your respected team gets beat and you are still in the Boro, please head over to MTSU and watch the visiting Virginia Cavaliers and the Sad Blue Raiders play football. They need all the butts in seats they can get.

Funny how a top tier team hasnt made their way to Middle TN to get any of those 27 wins. I havnt heard anything about Hutchison until mentioned in this post. We will see in about 2 weeks if those 27 wins mean anything.

I think that 1 of these 5 teams can win the AAA State. The other 4 could on their best day get very lucky win the State. Trust me I am not a Brentwood fan or supporter. That team is just better than the other schools in that district. They know how to beat the other schools, and they have done it about 99% of the time. The Ravenwood/Independence matchup on Weds should be stellar. Two very evenly matched teams. Then what? You have to play Brentwood and then you season is over. Hardly seems fair! This is just my opinion, so I dont mean to hurt anyone's feelings. Im really just telling it like it is though.

Nail biter...?????? The teams are playing for 2nd. Its a shame that the teams 2nd-5th would win ALL the other AAA districts in Middle TN. I mean 4th and 5th are Independence and Ravenwood. Both of these teams are great but neither will get out of their district. I would really like to see TSSAA split this district up differently. Good Luck to all these teams. Next Thursday should be a dandy!!

Sounds like to me the officials where either A. Inexperienced and didnt know that they could overturn a line-judges call. B. To spineless to ###### anyone off so they just went with what the line-judge called. I wasnt there, but after reading this forum it sounds like B is the correct answer.

I could not agree with you more! I am very surprised to hear that Father Ryan beat them. Greenbrier could lose to an A/AA school, but I would be very surprised.

I could see both of those teams playing for the AAA St Title in Oct.
