  1. CAK's Andy Naler is twice the player anyone else you have mentioned
  2. I made some adjustments to my previous photo
  3. The rain definitely will help CAK
  4. The kid who made that thread and alot of the posters dont even play on the team. Its actually more crazy then one week its two weeks away. Its a vast minority of the fans that are like that. We hope the best of luck to both teams. People need to realize both teams read these threads and trash talk just gives the other team reason to kick your butt. CAK is not overlooking Page, some non football player got a little excited too early.
  5. When was his state championship? Coach Logan seems to be jumping on a guy for no reason for saying this is looking to be one of the best CAK teams they've hard, which if they dont turn off their steam they could end up that.
  6. this is way off. Why are we starting a thread now. When a team starts looking ahead they can get beat by someone they didnt expect to.
  7. Thats not exactly true. Boyd threw the ball a whole lot and if CAK's offense would have been in rhythm like it was the last two that would have been a 3-4 touchdown win for CAK too. With Cherokee and Loudon that throw the ball maybe 6 times a game its easy to get a pass in here and there when everyone in the stands and on the field is thinking run every down. I would hope their secondary would step up against a good passing team. CAK's D-line should keep them from staying in the pocket for too long.
  8. CAK plays 2A ball. I think they are moving to 3A in 2009 if I'm not mistaken. They'd be a 2A school now even without the multiplier.
  9. It'll be closer than last year but still a blowout.
  10. Its not all about facilities. CAK has terrible football facilities. They practiced on the game field up until this year and practice on it again because it was such a bad field players were getting hurt. CAK has no film room, and their weight room is about the size of a janitors closet. CAKs locker rooms were not built for football and all have the half locker type lockers where they cant even fit their helmets and shoulder pads. CAK does however have a nice stadium I will say, but you cant blame an unsuccessful team on bad facilities because CAK certainly looks like they will be a power this year and they dont know good ones at all. I think the glaring issue at Grace is stability. Grace needs to get a coach and keep him there. New coaches with new systems every year make it nearly impossible for a team to settle down and play. The biggest issue for them is the fact that they have had 3 or 4 coaches in the 5 or 6 years they've been around.
  11. I cant predict a score till I know more about the Page Pats. If they are a power team or a majority run team with a weak secondary then CAK should have a field day with them. If they are more of a throwing team and strong in the secondary then they could give CAK more trouble then Cherokee, and Loudon were were both very weak in the secondary.
  12. CAK beat Loudon by 17 points earlier tonight 38-21, they're the real deal
  13. CAK handled Loudon over pretty well with a 38-21, 17 point win for CAK. Another great win for the Warriors.
  14. Curt Phillips Randall Cobb Adam Currie also Cates from CAK is worth mentioning he has been great so far especially against Cherokee throwing for 297 with a badly sprained ankle he did in practice two days before the game.
  15. Due to a new region addition only 3 teams from each reason go for sure, then after that its at-large bids. Thats why some of the matchups are more crucial this year, especially in the hardest regions like Region 2-2A.
  16. Catholic should take care of this easily. AE is fast and talented but way too undisciplined. Catholic by 14
  17. why dont they start playing some decent teams and show us if they are or not. North Greene is pathetic, alot of teams would have destroyed them, just would have had the class to pull their starters when mercy rule went into effect.
  18. I dont know how many he had friday against Cherokee, but he had 19 tackles including 15 solos, 3 sacks and 1 FF in the Boyd-Buchanan game. He is the real deal. If he has a monster year like it looks as though he'll have; then he'll have majors after him too. He can add weight too with a D1 weight program. He has been contacted by just about every major D1 program in the South East and some are considering offering if he has a huge year. If he can get bigger he'll be a force at the next level.
  19. This kid is a beast. Who does he have offers from? I know one from Army unless i'm mistaken Bennett is a great, great player but he is no where near 225. The highest he's ever been weighed at is 205 and I'd bet he's about 195-200 right now. They'll be able to put weight on him in college and he may be near that size but he's far from that right now. He'd be more fitted to be a RB or WR, and he'll definitely be either a Safety or Linebacker at the next level but since he hits so hard and is so explosive, and a great receiving back he is a very effective fullback.
  20. Who's everyone got in this matchup. CAKs coming off big wins over Boyd-Buchannan, and a blowout of 4A Cherokee, Loudons coming off blowouts over 3A McMinn Central, and 4A Loudon. CAKs got its big time passing offense that racked up 300 yards last night as well as 150 running the ball, and Loudon has its impressive running attack behind Tyler Campbell. Should be a great game.
  21. CAK dominated this game pretty much from start to finish. It was actually worse than the score showed because CAK turned it over on downs twice inside there 10 yard line, and one of Cherokee's TDs came against the bench. I wasnt surprised CAK was able to throw the ball, however I was surprised at how well CAK ran the ball with such a outsized line, and how well their defense shut down the Wing-T effectively. Good game to both teams. Now its time for CAK to get ready for Loudon
  22. CAK played Asheville School as recent as last year and beat them 40-0. They've scrimmaged a couple teams that have run similar offenses. Hopefully that will give them something to go on in how to stop this offense. If Cherokee doenst have much speed then they may have trouble stopping CAKs speed on offense. If CAKs linebackers and line play smart then they could maybe stop this offense. I say its a close one but CAK by 7.
  23. Joseph Bennett 15 Solo 4 Asst 19 Total 1 Forced Fumble 3 Sacks wow 19 tackles thats impressive. Gabe Atkinson had a few sacks as well I think.
