Reread the title of the thread and then my post. I congratulated BGA on the win. Then I responded to the title of the post....how good is BGA. I answered how I feel. The real test for BGA will be when they play a BA or Baylor they will know. Sorry to say MBA is having a bad year so we may not be a test this year. BGA outplayed MBA hands down. But grow up? Really? I just answered the thread title. Maybe Dad needs to grow up and not be so sensitive.

Looks like Ensworth was the one that was unable to stop Baylor's big plays. Kudos to Baylor for crushing Ensworth!

Congratulations to BGA on your win tonight. Hard to judge how good BGA is by this win since MBA is having a very bad year. If you play Baylor, BA you will find out.

I really think MBA will be a very different team this week when we face Baylor. Also, Baylor is traveling to Nashville for the 2nd straight week....so they should be road weary. I think homefield advantage will play into this. Baylor is obviously a very talented team and maybe the best in D2 this year. I just think back to back travel games could take some toll on them. Hate to say it but Ensworth will beat McCallie by 14.

I don't see anyway they should have called that a touchdown to decide a championship. Looked like he had stepped out of bounds and again...there is no way after that they could see if he "really" scored. Bad way to end and my heart goes out to Baylor. But congrats to Ensworth. Just think it should have come down to a field goal attempt...and then maybe ot.

KW, I could not have said it better myself! Wow...Baylor should really be ahead. Just outplayed Ensworth in the 1st half. Hope the last drive they had...not resulting in points doesn't come back to bite them. Huesman is the real deal. Baylor's D has really held Elder so far.

Congratulations to Jacob Huesman for winning the award. He should have won it as he was hands down the top offensive player in D2 AA this year. Also a huge congrats to Baylor for going to the state championship. Fantastic year and I will say it....I hope Baylor wins the championship this year. I believe it is televised so I will be watching.

Congratulations to Baylor. Looks like you may be playing Brentwood Academy but Ensworth could mount a comeback. Either way I hope you beat either of those teams. Again, congrats on a great year.

KW I am watching as well. Also watched Baylor streaming on their site. Baylor won handily. Unless Ensworth gets on track it looks like a BA vs Baylor championship.

You never know but my money (if I was betting) would be on Baylor. Good defense and great playmakers on offense. I would pick Baylor by 10.

Coachkirk, I don't have a dog in the hunt on this game. I do find it comical that anyone would find it hard to believe that Baylor would not want to play in their stadium to host their rival. Does not make sense at all. They earned the right by going 8-1 and I believe McCallie is 4-6? This is about the players and students. I have been to Baylor just this year. It will be a great atmosphere and is a very nice and large stadium by high school standards. No other schools in the playoffs would ever give up home field advantage...and in fact are not.

Please place any D2 AA scores and any information on the games on this thread. Thought it would be good to have one thread devoted to the games of Nov 4. Thanks.

On your part about "everybody makes it to the playoffs"...I agree with you. Makes no sense. A team should have to be at least batting 500. In the east we have JPII with a 2-8 record and McCallie with a 3-6 record. You should have to earn being in the playoffs and with records like these? I don't want to make anyone mad here but it is ludicrous.

Hopefully someone can spell out who plays who now. Tonight MBA beats Pope John Paul, Baylor beats Father Ryan, Brentwood Academy beats McCallie, Ensworth beats BGA.
