Exactly! I could have used some Xanax during and after this game. I really thought it was over when BGA had the game inside the 10 at the end of the game. Whew!

I may be wrong but I just don't see it. The only real challenge that BGA had was against Baylor. And Baylor beat BGA by 2 touchdowns at BGA. I think this BA team is just too strong and it could get ugly. Now, I hope I am wrong...but I just think BA wins easily.

It was a long drive back from Chattanooga Thursday night. But without a doubt Baylor deserved the win in what was a very hard fought battle. Thanks to the folks at Baylor for their hospitality....they are a 1st class bunch. As someone on here said MBA will bounce back. I would not be surprised at all for MBA and Baylor to meet again. I would expect another great battle.

This should be a whale of a game. I will be making the drive to Chattanooga for this game for sure. Hope MBA travels well as this is a huge game for both teams. Both are 4-0 at this point. As I see it MBA has a strong defense and Baylor looks to have a strong offense. I have not checked the weather yet but hopefully it is fantastic. Baylor has the prettiest campus I have ever seen for a high school and the stadium setting views are just the best. So it is always a good time....I look for an outstanding game with MBA pulling out a close one. Say MBA 21 Baylor 17.

I agree that it is an amazing streak for the girls. Did not seem right that the Baylor boys was not there this year. But even though from your posts you hope the guys team is not back....I would never count out a team with Baylor's strong tradition in golf. It is unmatched by any other team and their feat will likely never be duplicated.

You missed this one by alittle bit. BA won by 8 stokes over MUS and was 27 shots (I think) over McCallie.

I am really looking forward to this game. While MBA has had a subpar year and very up and down....FR has had a good year to date. FR wants to end the 12 year win streak that MBA has going. Unless MBA plays alot better this could be the year. But, I am holding out hope to make it 13 in a row. Call me an optimist.....but I say MBA 21 FR 17

While we have had a tough year so far....never say never. Not ready for "prime time"? If that is the case not sure any D2 teams are except the MUS and maybe Ensworth. Anything can happen and yes it would be a huge upset and I know that. Go BGA! I certainly agree that the cream of the crop in D2 this year is MUS and followed by Ensworth. I do think their are alot of other teams that can pull off the upset if they play at the top of their game though. Looking forward to the BGA game...are you coming to the game bgaballer?

Not sure how you can say you should have beaten MBA easily at all. MBA was about to score again to put the game away until McCallie intercepted it for a touchdown. Fletcher made an incredible field goal for sure. I don't see how McCallie beats Baylor "going away" either. Not sure where your cockiness comes from. This should be a very good, close game. The MBA/Baylor score was deceiving for sure. Our defense played our best game yet and Baylor had some very unfortuate (for them) turnovers that lead to our scores. Sloppy game. Almost to close to call but I think Baylor wins this year and I agree that the Baylor campus and football venue (beautiful surrounded by mountains and river) is incredible. Baylor 21 McCallie 17

MBA has won 2 region games in back to back weeks and is playing better than the first part of the schedule for sure. Hopefully this carries over to the BGA game this week. I believe we will win this one by a couple of touchdowns. Have a safe trip to MBA.

Playing out of town and it being a region game is never easy. If MBA can play McCallie as well as we did Baylor....and get turnovers like Baylor had against us....I think we win. Our defense showed up finally and hope it continues. It was nice seeing us throw some too. Big Red 24 McCallie 21

Seems like several McCallie fans on here reference how many points Baylor scored against Tyner vs McCallie winning by by one late in the game. Seems like you want to point to turnovers and how many Baylor got. I have not seen Baylor fans referencing that game just McCallie so it seems like some paranoia about that game. MBA played what I think is by far our best game of the year to date against Baylor. But we scored 2 touchdowns both on Baylor turnovers on their 20 and 25 in the first half. They were also very generous to us in the 2nd half when twice they were about to score on the 1 and 10...again turning the ball over. So just curious, after the MBA and McCallie game will you continue to do the same Baylor McCallie referencing to turnovers? I doubt it unless McCallie is the one coughing it up.

Sunkistkid, I agree with bluelion. It is apparent that a few McCallie fans on here just love to take shots at Baylor whenever they can. On this board that is what continually happens. When other schools respond like they are to this it is usually asked for. No need for pot shots. In all intense rivalries students cheer for other teams against their rivals, etc. McCallie is no exception to this. It seems like one of your fans, by calling out Baylor students cheering, opened up the Signal Mountain fiasco. He left it open to this. When you start calling out someone....sometimes others come to the other teams defense. That is why so many other school's fans on here got involved against McCallie.

You talking about Alabama's past probation, or the Tennessee one that's a couple of years down the pike? No. Most likely the probation that Alabama will eventually be on again.

I think this will be a great high school football game. Still think MBA puts it together for a big division win. Redtwin, you have been quite....what is your take on the game.

Bluemom, I have read your posts and have read the posts of others on these threads. You obviously have jabbed at your rival most every chance you have gotten and were called out by numerous posters...most from other schools. Private school rivalries can get intense for sure. I am quite sure for every story you can come up with that a Baylor person can top by some less than sterling behavior by McCallie fan and student. That is just the way it is. You just have chosen to air it on here and that is why you have gotten called out.

Glad you realize now. No way would I act that way about another team....I'm not not that way and would never think anyone was scared to play us. Ensworth is a very fine and talented team. There was alot of discussion last year by more schools and posters. Was just curious about where everyone was.

Is it just me or are the Ensworth fans quite on this board as compared to last year.

Maybe so Redtwin. But I put them in my top 4 in the middle/east. They are probably better than last year and I remember they played a freshman qb when we played them and we had to fight our hearts out to pull out the win. I still go with MBA, EHS and BA or Baylor next. MUS is a no brainer for the west.
