Bipbop--- Well I hope you get ALOT of sleep in the off season b/c the next couple of years are really going to EXHAUSTING..

Its funny how you guys get on here and hide behind your screen names and run your mouths. At least those parents stand up for what they believe and aren't afraid to say to your face. Those parents and family member were just taking up for the players who worked hard for Benny and then got taken out of the game when they still had a chance to win. When you have a low down class less coach like that then you are bound to see a few angry parents. Brady only does what he is told to do. And he wants it just as much as the rest of the team. He works very hard to win. But what was done to him last night was PURE WRONG. If it what was said so wrong then why didn't one of people stand up for Benny and say something?????? If it happened to your son you would feel the same way. Grow up and act like men instead of getting on here and bad mouthing everyone on this website............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fans- lets move past this and cheer on the boys who will be out on the field Friday night. They have worked very hard to get this far and they deserve it. Its time for some players and Seniors to step up Friday night and get it WIN. I think this will be a hard hitting football game and the best team will come up on top. I think it will close game and I think the Owls will win. They have a great defense and will prove that. Offense will step it up as well. One more day and it looks like excellent weather.

I definately need to put my boots on, b.c the STUFF (nice way of putting it) is getting deep in here. I think I remember your poor QB laying on his back more than a couple of times last year and Jacquez was the one who put him there. If he not such a good player then why don't you suit up and go against him on the line. There is no way Farrgut will be up by 3 or 4 TDs, this game will close until the end. I am not going to predict a score. But the Owls have something to prove not only to everyone else but to themselves. They are an excellent football team and I think you see them mesh this week like no other week before. At home, which we have not been there in 3 weeks, with the loudest crowd you have seen. Don't take them lightly or you will find yourself lying on your back in the fetal position crying as you drive back to Knoxville.

I think the boys will come out this week with something to prove to everyone. Nothing seemed to go our way last week so hopefully things will turn around this week. The admirals are going to have a hard time coming to the Nest, should be a great game. I think the Mcminn lost will put some fire back in the boys steps and they will be ready to come out and play hard. GREAT OFFENSE AND DEFENSE this week. Lets go OWLS. We have to be VERY LOUD this week so that our boys know we are behind them no matter what the outcome is.

Are fans especially tend to forgot or at least a certain few. If you look at every other post on these forums, Ooltewah certain fans are the only one who dogs their OWN players. But thats ok. I just hope our players don't read these posts.

People love dogging the OWLS especially the ones who could not beat us. They have to live their lives through someone else. I don't think putting Goose in at QB would have helped. Brady ran the ball good last night and he even threw some good passes. Yes he had two interceptions, over threw some passes but there was also a fumble, dropped passes and missed tackles. Are you going to replace all those people too. And i know this may stir up some trouble and loud mouths on here. But no one knows how much he beats himself about these things. He works hard and wants to win just as much as the next person. The only thing we can do is stand behind our players and cheer them on to another victory. It will be a big game Friday and we need to be VERY loud against the Farragut team. Time to go to work and get things done.

You might get a surprise when and if you slow down the running game.. Benny has alot of plays in that play book.

Yes Reed had a good game against Franklin but he has not had that opportunity since. The Owls ran a couple of pass plays in that game that worked but for some reason that has not happened since. Maybe Goose can throw that ball but I don't think you can say more Accurate. What Varsity game did he actually throw the ball to where you can say that? Obviously Benny wants Reed at QB or he would not be there. I agree that Reed can run the ball but he does not get a chance to do that very often either. Maybe 3 running plays aginst Cleveland, one was 20 yards and then he never did it again. It comes with play calling, he only does what his coach tells him to do.

He is capable. Just got to be given the right opportunity. And I know there have been times where he is given some what of an opportunity but we all make mistakes. I think he needs more of a chance to throw it than on 3rd and long when the RUN does not work. Which seems to be happening a lot lately. Everyone knows we are going to run the ball. Why not come out throwing the ball on the 1st down of the game? Have we ever done that?

So someone cheered louder for somebody's child and not your son........? and you are getting upset? Well,"take your ball and go home!!" whaaaaa..... Oh lord red4life,you cant be serious? Dont all parents cheer just a little bit louder for thier kids? I'm almost willing to bet you cheer for your son every time....and I'm willing to bet you don't cheer for every kid out there? No actually I don't have a son on the team. And it was not that they were cheering louder for one person and not the other. They weren't cheering AT ALL. So get your facts straight before you quote me. You can sit by me at the game and listen to me cheer if you would like.

I hope the OWLS get a chance to prove some people wrong this week against McMinn. One thing I did notice on Friday, was that certain fans only cheer for certain players and I think that is very immature especially when it is parents. I thought as fans we are supposed to support every player on the TEAM. I hope that we show Mcminn that we can come out and throw it as well as run the ball and not play RUN RIGHT RUN LEFT all night. Owls are solid in all aspects of the game but I don't think that we have had the oppoturnity to really show ALL of our talent. Friday cannot come soon enough. LETS GO OWLS.

I am not so sure I saw great coaching tonight. But oh well I can't wait to hear what everyone has to say after this one. I don't believe anyone had a stand out game tonight. Owls were very slow, not sure if that is b/c we had a off week or we just weren't ready to play. But thats ok we have another win and that is all that matters. Between the fumbles, missed tackles, missed passes and interceptions. Owls just weren't all there. But lets get it together and WIN next week for Homecoming.

ITS GAME TIME... I am so ready for some Friday night football. I think the boys will be ready, maybe a little rusty to start off with but will do just fine.

Lets talk some football. How has Maplewood looked this year so far? Can anyone from Maplewood fill us in?

Believe me you won't get much out of our fans when it comes to the QB!!! There are only a few of us the back our QB. But thats ok, those few of us believe in him and think he can do the job.

Well hopefully this off week and next before will get the boys thinking about what they need to do to WIN against a powerful Maplewood. We saw last year what they could do. I hope they come out pumped and ready to go. I think we have a pretty good chance, as long as we keep everything together. Running, passing, kicking, and defense and d- line and o-line. I think if we combine and Soddy and Franklin game with the running and passing game. I don't think Maplewood will be able to handle it. Second Half of the season looks pretty good from where I am standing right now

And by the way you NEVER said " Brady had a good game" and I am not whining just stating the facts. You had to make a comment about how this was the best game. Brady has had good games in the past but you were too stubborn or upset that your BOY was not playing that you could see that. But you know what I am not going to argue with you about this. You will be on here next year stating the same whole thing unless of course it is your kid out there trying to help this team with a win.

We have never said that Brady is not to blame for parts of the game, but you NEVER put any of the blame on any body else but Brady. You could not just say "Good Game' you had to point out something negative for the game he played. But you are like talking to a brick wall. No one will ever get any where with you. But thats ok. He helps gets the WINS and that is all that matters. NO one ever said he had the best game out of any QB in the state. But all you guys have said is that our passing game was no good and then he steps up and has a great throwing game and STILL NO COMPLIMENT.

It must have killed them to Brady a compliment in the first place. But thats ok he did a GREAT job last night. He finally got a chance to open up the offense and ran away with it. I just hope Benny keeps this up in the next game. We all know Maplewood will know the run so Brady is going to have to step it again. O LINE did a excellent job as well. Blocked really well and gave Brady the time he needed to find his receivers or find the holes to run. Defense great as usual. I think if we keep this up no one will beat us and we go deep into the playoffs.
