My uncles played with those guys and STILL talk about how GREAT they were. Those guys must have really been able to ball. I know I've heard mom talk about TUTORING Moore in French at Clinton and helping him with any of his homework on the bus--If I'm not mistaken he was one year behind her in school. I've always held the utmost respect for Coach Gaddis--dang the man could coach. I always wanted to play for him, but...I had to settle with just being good friends with the Minor boy (Jeff), who did date his very good looking daughter Carrie. I'm glad to see Joe being successful where ever he goes. I didn't always hear how his tenure in Mississippi went--how did his teams while there. Somehow, I always knew he would end up back in "Bama.

OS91---I haven't been around in a while, but hey...we were both at Norwood in the same time frame. You should have been in the 9th grade when I was in the 6th or 7th--that year or two when it was a 6-9 school?? You didn't happen to date a girl named Sherry in Junior High did you?? Just curious. Let me ask you another Q--I picked 18 games this week. I know one of the 18 is suspended leaving me a total of 17 picks. Out of the 17 picks, only 11 of them are listing with me missing 2 out of 11 for a total number of 9 correct. When or will the remainder of the results be posted or fixed?? Yes, Ihave some things to add: Of OSs first 7 drives, 3 ended in paydirt and 4 were TOs Of SCs first 7 drives, 3 were TOs and no TDs There score before the teams took an intermission of sorts was OS 20, SC 0. Much to SCs credit they came out and took it right to OS to make it a respectable 20-14 in the end. I know that Frank Johnson's Cats have Clinton lined up Monday evening at Bobcat Field at 6pm. As for SC, the new staff of Sexton, Hall, and Shannon has helped the boys improve 100 fold. However, on a downer, the SC QB Jeffers broke his arm in practice Thursday morning.

Swamp, It's apparent that when teams from ACs, AEs, Kingstons, Loudons, LCs, and Fultons region win against teams like the mighty Rutledges, GPs, Seymours, and Sull Norths of this world--needless to say they get a little jealous. Kerr is a winner and that is the bottom line. Take this to the bank...the state 3A championship will go through Region 2 3A again this season.

I saw that boy play quite a bit of ball. He played with a team called the Knoxville Stars. He and his father along with his whole family are quality people. I kept up with him, watching him in some high school games,several summer league games, watched him on TV while he was at NC ST, and read the box score while he was at ETSU. I'm really glad to see he got a minor league deal. The best of luck to him.
