And once again, Lassiter proves he can not win the 'big' game. How long are the people of Gallatin going to settle for these early exits from the playoffs. There is no way you should have lost the game tonight.

Congrats MJ! Good luck next week against another Rutherford Co. school. Send them on to basketball season as well.

Just want to say congrats to all the Sumner Co. playoff teams that won tonight. Next week will be an exciting one in the county with 2 really good games in 5A with SC at Beech and the Green Wave and Commandos playing. in 3A the White House BDP'ers are still alive and kicking. Good luck to all, but sadly someone is going to have to loose.

Looking at this one on paper says SC wins easily. However, I am believing that Coach Aric and his team will come to LG (Lower Gallatin) and pull the upset. Maybe, if his team can put a complete game together it will be a close one. If not, then SC wins big.

While my head says Green Wave, I have a nephew that is on the team, my heart is and always will be a Buccaneer. So I have to pull for the Orange and White in this one. Biggest hope is that no one on either side gets hurt before going in to the playoffs as these games are always physical. Bucs pull the upset 21 to 17. JMO.

Good Luck Hillsboro and my old friend Coach Dennis Moreno!! Finish out the season on a high note willing the last two games. It will make the transistion into the offseason workouts much better. Not that I have any thing against Centennial, just know Coach Moreno personally and have to pull for him.

What an uneducated remark to make. Portland is losing because they have not got the talent the other teams in the region have. The real truth is WC is not a good football school now, nor was it in the last year Aric was there. Accept The Real Truth. It will set you free from your hatered and bitterness.

Metro just recycles the old guys that have been in the system for years. Rarely do they bring in any new blood to try and build up programs. They are as bad as the NBA, NFL, and MLB as far as the merry go round of coaches.

I know that my Bucs are having a "down" year this season and still have to play the Green Wave, but are they going to make it into the playoffs this year?

Good Luck SC as I always pull for the Sumner Co. teams. However, I would like to ask this questions. I thought that the reason WC was losing was because of Coach Aric. However, I see that they are no better without him? Could it be that WC just is not as talented as the parents in that part of the world think?

Anyone that thinks replacing Coach Moreno at Hillsboro will solve their problems is, in my opinion, a blooming idiot. I can not think of a more knowledgeable coach who treats his players with dignity and respect in and around Metro Nashville than Coach Moreno. Once again, it is a lack of quality players at Hillsboro at this time that is the problem, not the coaching.

You had your shot at all three of those teams during the regular season and came up short. Take care of your business the last two weeks and you may get in the backdoor of the playoffs. If so good for you. However, SC is going to have to start beating people like Beech, Hendersonvile, and Gallatin before they are going to be taken seriously in 5A. How long is the administration at SC going to give Hollingsworth to get the job done at SC?

Hillsboro is in a very tough situation. Tougher region than when they were in 4A. Fewer quality players in their zone and more difficult requirements for those out of zone students to get in. Coach Moreno is a top notch man and coach. He is working to build a successful program again at Hillsboro, but it is hard to win the derby if all you have are pack mules. Best of luck to Coach Moreno and the Burros the rest of the season.

Yes Station Camp can stop Mt. Juliet; from getting off the bus. After that, it is ballgame. Mt. Juliet has already beaten 2 better teams in Gallatin and Beech than Station Camp. Coach Perry will be classy and keep the score under 50.

I HATE anything to do with black and gold. In fact, I would pull for Gallatin before I would Hville.

I personally hate the situation for the proud people of Portland, the players, and Coach Aric. While I consider him a friend, I will say that I did not think this was a good job for him at this time. Sometimes it is better to say no and wait for a more favorable opportunity to come along, rather than just jump at the first job that comes open. We all know that there are good jobs, okay jobs, and career killing jobs. Right now, the situation in Portland is probably in the last category. Nothing against Portland, because I know their rich tradition and history. They are just a very small fish in a really big pond right now. I just wish all of them the best of luck as they try to get through a very difficult time.

Did not see this one coming as it seemed Portland had been getting better. This loss is a setback to the rebuilding effort by Coach Aric and his staff. To only manage 3 points against a 1A school, especially after looking better the previous weeks will certainly cause the folks in Portland to be scratching their heads. I just hope that Coach Aric sticks with his current offense and does not try to start making changes in the middle of the season. That did'nt work for him at BHS or Wilson Central.

JMO, but it is always great to see any Sumner County team beat that bunch of whiny tea sippers from Williamson Co. Great Job Green Wave.
