I have seen both of these teams play Wayne County this year and Cville way ahead. Cville didn't need Mikey to beat SF.

Ring is signed with MTSU. Mikey Adams looked very good all summer and in a scrimmage last week with Wayne County. Austin Rice will be a very good one as well. He looked pretty good last week against Cornersville. He was only out of basketball for two days.

Who cares who is the best on the team. If you PC folks aren't careful you are going to cause division on your team and blow a very good shot at winning a state championship. I would like for some team in our district to win a state championship and you all have the best shot. Get behind your team and stop worring about which one is the better player.

Heck, WC has been working on baseball for a while now. Rice is the only player coming over from basketball.

From what I saw last night PC was lucky to come out with the win over MTP. Had MTP players had not hit the panic button late and PC hit a few shots then PC might be thinking about baseball today.

Collinwood has gotten hot at the right time. When I watched them beat Loretto in the 1st game of the district tourney I thought that they would make a big run. They are very young with 3 sophmores and 2 juniors starting last night. Bring Butler back next season and they have another soph that didn't start last night but played most of the game and look out. PC will probably win the region championship and McEwen will be very hard for Cwood to beat in the substate game.

Stown by 20 Cwood by 10 Loretto by 2 WC by 10 WC in upset over Stown by 5 (WC had Stown beat at Stown but Stown pulled it out at the end.) Cwood by 8 over Loretto. WC pulls out Region by 5 over Cwood.

I would not call it an upset. WC has been up and down all season. They are usually about 3 or 4 games on the upside then tank for about 3 or 4 games. I really thought that they could go anywhere from 2nd to 4th in the district tourney but played okay and finished 1st. If they play as a team, like they have the last few games, they will have a shot at the sub state. If they become the individal players that they were a lot this season, then they will be done soon.

Does this average include the games Tucker missed or is this an average for just the games that each played? I think that Tucker is a very good player on offense as well as defense. He is diffently one of the best in our district. Congrats to Chard & Rhodes for their MVP awards. Both are leaders on their teams and have had great seasons. P.S. I don't agree with people getting on here and bashing or knocking the players that get an award for their efforts. Kids need to play hard and do their best each game and if they have a good year get the prize at the end.

We've all heard how Stown spanked them 3 weeks ago. I watched them beat Stown this week. WC may not beat PC again but it has given them a boost and some extra pep in their step.

It's a great honor to make the 3 finalist. I really wish that people would just give each finalist a big ole pat on the back for their great year. I'm sure there are many players out there that have had really good years too. It doesn't really matter on how that they are selected because somebody is going to complain about it. To the three finalist, congrats on a great year and good luck finishing out the year. Keep doing what you are doing for your team and school. P.S. Kelsey Risner is awesome and has lead the Wayne County Lady Cats for 4 years now. She has a State Championship under her belt and a great future at Union University ahead of her. Good luck Kelsey and finish strong.

That wouldn't suprise me but PC has got to get by MTP first. Collinwood is a very hot team right now. Besides WC could be to much for PC again and I know you all can't stand to get beat by WC. Collinwood would be doing you all a favor by beating WC.

The funny thing bouncing around in my WC noggin is Wayne County WON and GAME OVER. We won the Region & State Championship in Football and now pulled the upset in the district championship in basketball. Gotta be a good thing to to a Wayne County Wildcat.

Just like mentioned yesterday. Gotta play the game. If Stown trashed their game to avoid PC then they got what they deserved. Stown, MTP, & PC are all together now anyway and only one of them is going to survive. 4 teams with little hope now have a lot of hope. Any of them could advance to the sub state.

About the clock...Time does not start until the ball is touched and the pass went over the players and it did start late but it also ran after the play was over.

You're probably right but that's why we play the games. If we go by rankings then you all get a silver ball not a gold one. I'm sure PC wants a shot at the gold ball. If WC can't have it then I hope someone from our district can. Wouldn't it be nice for our district to pull in a boy's & girl's gold ball to go with a Gold Football this year

Summertown could trash this game and then Wayne County upset PC and Stown would be back to same spot. Gotta try to win and make every team play their best. What would be awesome is that WC upset PC and PC end up in the bracket with MTP.

It takes a whole team in order to win a championship. I had rather have a great team any day over a great player. Look at the Wayne County Football team this year. It was not 1 player but a whole team that won a State Championship. Lets keep the Championship in our district.

MTP is going to be #1. Who gonna be 2,3,4 from the other district? When does the region begin? I've heard about 3 different nights.

Cwood's best player right now is Wesley Pigg. He has been wearing it out. His post play has kept Cwood going not Montgomery. If Cwood brings their post game early then I see Stown's big boys getting into foul trouble.

WOW. Wayne County couldn't score 48 points in a game much less 1 quarter.
