I agree this is a tough match up for the Jackets. They have had some issues with teams that line up and run straight at them. Beech and the 2nd half of the WH game, even GB at times. They aren't huge on the D line. Hopefully Jackets have a good game plan in place to stop the run, and limit the big plays.

Looks like both teams have won 5 straight. We know they don't have Coacht down in Savannah...how about Lexington?

Great game gonna go down to the wire. In other news WH in trouble right now, GB tied at half. This is a tough region we are playing.

Talking to some folks "in the know", HC is a good team. They have size, speed, and depth(not many play both ways). Springfield is battle tested, having played several 5A and 6A teams, plus they have made it to the quarterfinals the last two years. I say this one stays close for 3 quarters, Jackets pull away at the end. Similar to the Clarksville game. Jackets 26 HC 14

23 deserved the penalty on the long catch. But the roughing the passer and the penalty on 8 out of bounds were a joke. Even the TV announcers said so.

Watched the game on TV. Looked like both teams had some nerves because of the TV crews with all the muffed punts. Officiating was terrible. I admit the Jackets deserved a couple of the unsportsmanlike penalties, but quite a few were total BS, the TV guys even commented. Greenbrier has a tough squad and will be a tough out in the playoffs. I think WH and Greenbrier are pretty evenly matched, and it should be a barn burner next week! The Jackets seem to be hitting their stride at the right time, but they need to play more disciplined football.

23 ran it about 80 yards on his first touch against WH, then was out the rest of the game. If he was in...they beat WH by 2 tds IMO.

Two of the Jackets best offensive weapons were injured in the first half against WH. Anybody know the status of 23 and 4?

Good game WH. They looked like they wanted it more. With #23 and #4, I think Springfield wins it, but injuries happen. WH house had a bad injury too, so who knows. Hope he is okay. 46 for WH had some real nice playa on offense and defense.

Good game going on here 14-7 Jackets at the half. WH much improved, key injuries on both teams.

Anyone know offhand the last time WH beat Springfield?

Springfield fan here...SC is struggling this year. They really couldn't get anything going on offense against Springfield. It was 38-10 with about 5 minutes to go, and SC scored a couple on the JV. I think Rossview should win by 2-3 tds.

WH wins have come against teams that have won 8 games combined the last 2 years, but they have won and won big. I think the Devils keep it close for a quarter, but eventually the Jackets speed will tell. I say this one will be similar to WHH score. I'll go with 35-7 Jackets.

Probably the Jackets most complete game to date. Beech looks tough, other than that I can see the Jackets running the table. Greenbrier and WH are much improved so anything can happen.
