1-2-2,1-3-1 still zone....Beech played first and longest in district as base...Never said anything w wrong with stealing it or is it comical..Good coaches "steal" from each other. They did not invent the wheel....However, to say SC coach is bad....THAT IS COMICAL!!!
Not a good coach??? He has no Seniors,Starts a Freshmen,Soph.,and two Juniors and beat WC the first time.WC is Senior led.Great Team, plays hard...But to say that about SC....WOW!
And the funky zone is a 1-3-1 stolen from Beech...
I believe the field house was built with money donated from a family of a former Beech student. Some stadium upgrades come from winning 2 State Titles I would think. Hendersonville/Goodlettsville businesses like being associated while the school is successful on the field.
No it would not. If Hville beats SC it would only be SC's second district loss, Beech like-wise only has two in district losses, both those teams would finish ahead of Gallatin. The Wave would finish second in the 5A part.
Even if he was a starter at Gallatin, they still lost to SC 42-14.He was not the difference.Gallatin has cried for years that SC recruits their kids and it is just not true as this case supports. The sad part is that at the end of the day it is high school sports not college or pro where it is a business and all these kids regardless of school represent Sumner County.Professionalism would say the school administration from Gallatin should have worked it out with SC's, not go and tattle-tell. Shameful for Gallatin that they resort to this.
Like your post and enthusiasm Southernfried.... Wished more parents felt this way instead of "crowning" kids the star just because they are on the team.Someone once said you can lead a horse to water....but you can not make him drink.
