  1. His name is Mike Beverage, He still should be Portland's Head Coach. He got a bad deal there.Portland's loss,Beech's gain.
  2. Anderton is highly competitive,an effective leader, and commands respect usually reserved for players older than he is......Temper.......NO WHERE TO BE SEEN!!!!
  3. Just my opinion, but Portland's best coach and staff after Perry are now coaching at Mt. Juliet and one is at Beech. They were let go by the now "former" principal.I believe their current positions speaks for the types of coaches and men they are.Portland has struggled ever since.
  4. Anyone know when they are going to start interviewing potential candidates? or how many will get an interview?
  5. How much pressure is put on the new coach to win? Does the school body support the program?
  6. Wave1 seems someone does not agree with the changes in Wave Country.Long offseason for all except the Buccaneers.Looks like everyone still will be chasing Beech.
  7. The Beech JV could give White House a run for their money.
  8. Someone may have awakened the "The Sleeping Giant" on the East Bank!!!!!!!! So much for "having issues" all over the field.
  9. You guys need to respect Gallatin tradition according to some Wave followers. The East Bank will be ready I think!!
  10. Lost on the East Bank of Station Camp Creek.............
  11. Lots of "word" around town, not a lot of truth.
  12. I think that sound you are hearing is a Stampede coming!
  13. According to you guys, if Station Camp does win Friday Night, then they should celebrate like they won the State Title because of Gallatin's "past" status, which I believe was 20 years ago with some guy by the last name of Short.
  14. Traditionally Good?????? I guess having a decent record and losing in the early rounds of the Playoffs each year would be Tradition for Gallatin.Man, I would not want to miss that.
  15. I can already hear the Wave people yelling that Station Camp recruits. That is their fall-back.
  16. 2011,Hope you are right. Friday Night could see history made if the Wave can't stop The Herd.
  17. Never said it didn't happen. All these names you are throwing out are not affiliated with Station Camp outside of being students at school or fans. All these kids are friends with one another or have played against each other as they are growing up, so if you use your theory, maybe they should not talk to each other because "they" may try to recruit for their school. As far as this Banks and Rice steering kids, never heard of these people, nor is there anyone on the SC roster with those names.
  18. Wave, Rucker Stewart is also zoned for Station Camp. You say the SC boosters are raiding Rucker???? How about a former Wave QB by the name of Cody Matthews who lived in the Cambridge Farms Subdivision playing for the Wave??? Cambridge Farms is SC Territory. There are athletes playing for other schools who are zoned for SC and vice versa, but Gallatin people always accuse the Bison of recruiting. That is funny.
  19. 88 hope you are right, but some of the comments from County Executive Holt do not look to promising. He said the Commission has stated their position and would not "stand" for further funding.Phillips will not start school until it is funded or major teacher cuts are made. The Commission has had all summer to pass this budget but refused.I fear football may suffer for it.
  20. I have heard that the Station Camp-Hendersonville game has been taken off Thursday Night Lights.I would think that was a smart move for the T.V. game considering the budget mess.Anyone else heard this?
  21. This sounds strange considering he has stated that he will recommend to the school board not to open schools because of the 2.2 mil offered. This leaves SCS $5 mil short of what they need.
