EVERYONE not named the school board saw this train wreck coming, didn’t know exactly what or when it would be but it’s been shouted from the roof tops since day 1. Track record spoke for itself. Let Gray stop the bleeding and hopefully a qualified candidate will apply and be hired.

No one of them does not play any sports but there are several players that are here and yes some very good ones at that. I don’t know exactly who you are, the player I spoke to wasn’t sure lol. Either way you know me, if you see me at a game feel free to come say hello.

Yeah their buddies ratted them out to me a while back lol. I know a bunch of em on the team and teenagers ain’t great at keeping secrets. Matter of fact one of them gave me a pretty solid lead on you as well 🥷

With the current hire (I refuse to call him a coach) it was always a matter of time given his “credentials”. Look at the past issues there was with him at the same program.

Well the buzzing is exactly why y’all and even people like me 100 miles away were so furious over this hire to begin with. It was always just a matter of time. All the trolls here bashing folks for speaking out or saying it’s not the community’s job to hire it’s the job of admin didn’t bother to actually understand the situation. Administration and elected officials can be and are corrupt sometimes. They can also just make bad decisions. One of the two is at place here, personally I believe it’s the first one. If at all true then the chickens are coming home to roost.

Well there’s the rub. They have a new HS in Lenoir City and that new GB HS would make a great middle School according to some. I personally disagree but they ain’t asked me my opinion lol.

The trend is to kill small community schools in favor of consolidation. You know that as much as anyone. Carter county has been trying to do that for years now. It’s been the same in Loudon county as well. There have been those in positions there that have been proposing this happen since before the new GB school was built. We all know that the glue that has held that school together has been the community support and pride in the football program was a very big part of that support. If that is allowed to go away I question the future of Greenback High School. I’m probably wrong but this is from chatter I’ve heard for long time now.

No real thoughts on the game to share. Just here to congratulate coalfield on yet another win. Forgot to give props to them in my previous posts. Y’all just beat us. . . Again.

Gotta keep the facility up for the future middle school team. After the dismantling I’d say step two is to consolidate GB high into that shiny new HS building. Just an outsider perspective of what’s happening.

We have scored 2 offensive touchdowns against them in the last 4 games (I did not include the Covid loss). That’s 16 quarters, 192 minutes of football and we’ve scored twice. Maybe Connor Stalions is a coalfield fan I looked that up this morning and I knew they had just whipped us the last 5 years (can’t count the Covid loss as a whipping though it may have been) but that stat caught me off guard not good lie.
