1. 100% positive he didnt as it is family. 2. Telling parents at a parent meeting to delete his number from their kids phone seems extreme, but it happened. Also, not bashing character or family life, I just feel that coaches have extra responsibility. 3. Agree. I wish administration at the high school and central office understood how important athletics can be to a student in developing character, teamwork, etc. With new admin coming in soon, I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. Also want to apologize if I seemed rude or uncivil. Completely didn't mean to come off that way, just a little passionate about the kids (as I can tell you are too).

Again, you don't know me. I never claimed to have greater football knowledge than anyone. Also, I'm not snapping at anyone. Just a little frustrated to know most of these boys, how much effort they give, and how little effort they and other assistant coaches tell me their leader has. Central has rarely had a great seasons and I'm not asking for greatness now...just effort. It's frustrating when a kid gets severely concussed that his head coach won't even get in touch with the family to check on him. Or, when some of these guys see their coach as a father figure, and he refuses to communicate with them off the field...it just bothers me. I could be in the minority, but I feel like when you sign up to be a head coach, and take that little extra county money that comes your way, it requires more than just standing on the sideline.

First of all, don't ever call me out for not helping. You don't know me. I have it from a very good source that he does absolutely nothing with these boys. My goodness, he coaches the o-line and they literally don't know who to block (both in practice and during the game). I would like to know why you do think he's the man for the job.

The absolute best thing that could happen to Central would be the immediate resignation of Josh Goodin. Pathetic is a nice word at this point. I just want Central to have someone that cares about something other than having the title of head coach.

From what I hear, it is an ankle that could keep him out a couple weeks.

I'm gonna take Chatt Central in this one. Sequoyah may not be up to their level and with Stakely out, that's gonna hurt a lot.

Central will need to get a lead before the fourth quarter because they aren't conditioned enough to play all four. Another problem is they can't move the ball. They have absolutely no passing game. I hope for the best, but I have no idea who wins this one.

If Central can stop the turnovers, it will be close. Watched Sequoyah on Friday and felt like Tellico had a mental block going on against the Chiefs.

Macon beat Central in all aspects. Probably Central's worst game of the year...no defense, little offense, just terrible. Congrats to Macon.

Meigs could come out as flat as a piece of paper and it still wouldn't be close.

I'm gonna say Polk gets their second...and it won't be that close.

If Central plays like they have been, they will get their butts handed to them. With that said, the potential is there for them to make some noise.

Apparently the same as Sequoyah. LOTS of penalties and simple mistakes. There are some good athletes though.

How do you think this one is gonna go? Sequoyah coming off a big win against Tellico and Central coming off a disappointing loss at McMinn County.

I love the Chargers...but this one will get ugly. I will take the Cherokees by 49.
