Grant it i have not been on many alcoa threads but im on the milan threads every week, and although i do not post much i read every post and i would have to say this is the most disapointed ive been in our coacht fans since somebody gettin on last year and talkin bad about our o line. MILAN remember your tradition and the classy reputation we have had over the years when you post. Just got through reading the enire thread lol took forever. . . .The bottom line is on Friday Dec. 5 at 7 pm the best of the west is going to meet the best from the east. . . .Records and stats and all of these opinions or"options" are not going to matter, so there aint no since in agruing like a bunch of little highschoolers "althought most of yall prolly are". Just let it all rest and let the kids do all the talking on friday night when these two great tradition filled programs finally meet. . . . Something i wanted so bad the last four years that i played.

Yea they got a few massive massive lineman that could be would be desent if they could move there feet a little bit. They are strong boys just need some aggilitly work.They can be a better team next year if the guys that r there now work hard in the off season and with the way the regions r going to be next year they might be competitive. but i aint sure were who they will be playing next year.

i have not keep up with SP like i did last year, so r they as good as last year when they beat up on mckienzie in the championship game?

I've seen dresden 3 times this year and i have honestly got say they have no potentail. mainly because of the coaches in my opinion. i mean u can look at the way the coaches act during the games that and it makes me feel sorry for some of them kids that go out everyday to practice for them guys. it just looks like they dont care.

They scored 56 points how many more do u want man. And no some of the first string came out after half time with there shoulder pads off and there sweats on.

Don't get me wrong i thank they have a real good chance this year to take it back to the big house but we have played a team that will not make the playoffs and a team that will have to improve greatly to make it. I just thought that was jumping the gun a little bit cuz remember we went through a lot of injuries and made it over some big road blocks to get where we did last year. Grant it we did make it as far as we wanted but if we put trenton out in round 3 i thank the outcome of us vs GP would have been much different but hey thats just my opinion.

There are some misleading post in this thread that i really get a kick out of! First of all Alred got hurt 2years ago and yea for those of you that has not at that game USJ did play rather dirty, trust me i blocked for alred all night and still got knots on my own knees and shins from the D lineman diving and not being man enough to hit me head up. And for such fine young men that played for USJ that year they must not have had much teachins at home cuz on more than one occasion i had to pull kentrell brooks off of some of them pore little kids because they had called him the N word. and thats a big NO NO around milan. But we are all over that now. I also played them last year at USJ and they were a hole different team. one of the cleanest games i ever played. Now the 2 games i played JCS in was 2 of the hardest fought games i played last year up front on the line. them 2 little 165 lb tackle they had on D would either dive at ur knees or run plum away from me lol. but i will have to say i have alot of respect for both of them teams. USJ have had a rough couple of years in 2A but have a good posibility for a playoff spot this year. And for JCS they proved all they needed to last year and played there hearts out against us. So good luck to all private schools this year and cant wait to see JW williams pick about 4 from that new QB from USJ. aint his name oversby? or something like that. GC Pioneer please shut your mouth and get out of Gibson Co. People like you make the hole county look bad.

I tell u what it has been 3 years since I have watched the purple pack get lined up for a opening kickoff without me gettin ready to go out there on off and try to help get some points on the board and man let me tell yea I had chills all night long as i sat there watchin the QB i snapped to and the backs i blocked for, do what they did last night. It was a great but sad feeling as i realized how great milan football really is and how badly i already miss it, and we only got done with week 1. But anyways enough about that! dont worry bout coach M. lookin over GC they already got a game plan lined up and ready to start tomo afternoon preparing the boys once again for a region matchup. now for camden they will probably win there region this year but week 3 will be a tough one for the lion cubs.

I think milan would have made a bigger showing than trenton in that game, but whats done is. And tonight its done for trenton.

I AGREE...the past 10 games weve played against each other..the record is 7-3 in favor of manisfield side. Them records don't matter Friday night as far as Milan is consured the record is 0-0.

I wish u would get off of all this about emotional games and it being tough to beat a team twice. If u can remember Milan beat trenton and humbolt twice last year. And trust me milan WILL NOT be sleeping friday night cuz we were not satisfied with our week 7 preformance. We are over our big but not suprising win last week and have moved on.

The Milan defence has been dominating all year long and are just now starting to run on all 8 cylinders. And congrats to Jamil Davis for being nominated to play in the allstar game in december!!!

I will have to say Burlison is one of the smartests, strongest, hard hitting son of a gun's I have played agianst in a long time. I would have to say all the glory of this game goes to the coaches.
