Can anyone tell me why the coaches from the past year was not given some kind of probation. Its just on the students. The athletic director could care less as long as basketball wasn't affected.

This is what I dont understand my son didn't sign the forfeit letter. He refused to sign his name. He will not be not playing in another High School playoff game, he is 16. If he transfers he has to sit out a year for varsity. The Seniors who led this and the adults who done nothing to help this situation. Keep going with no true punishment. The AD got his appeal turned in his favor, (3-9 in boys basketball). The whole community and region knew the possibility of this happening, barley formed a team this past year. If Pink had been fired 2 years ago, when the 8th graders had won the state sectional. None of this crap would of taken place. When are the ADULTS going to be held accountable, yes the kids got tired of an #### beating each week. Did anyone ever see these kids quit during the season? This was all on the coaches the scheduling, no hitting during practice, the lack of recruiting from the hallways. You would think if they truly cared about these kids and the program. They wouldn't have waited for Pink to turn his resignation to start a coaching search. Come on people quit blaming the kids. The adults FAILED PERIOD!!!! They should be all punished just not the athletes.......

BULLRUSH thanks I wasn't sure! This Unaka team will either be made or broken this year. Hopefully they will get some help getting kids interested in playing. Its not much further these kids can dig.

So does Unaka and Cloudland have a game Friday night or not? I have heard both are on bye and then heard they play?

This is just my opinion but I think it will come down to the special teams. My gut says Hampton wins by 2 tds. Happy Valley can pass but qb has to have time to pass. I just don't see that happening. Happy Valleys punt returner will be an x factor.

Hopefully see a small improvement from the young Rangers. What's everyone's thoughts on the outcome. Already know it's not going to be a victory on the score board. I think 2 scores against Cosby would be tremendous for this group!

Just curious and not bashing on anyone. Why is coach McKinney still on the creek? Does the job truly lack interest or are they content with his coaching off the field?

I have a great deal of respect for Oneida and Coalfield but; Coalfield pulls the upset. Both programs have great coaches, players, and fans. Play hard and leave it on the field. Good luck to both schools.

It sounds like West Greene is kinda getting the big head. You better watch Happy Valley with an attitude like that. It dont matter how hard you work or how tough you are. cosby is going to be tough no doubt. i think the way the line got pushed around. they will be playing with a chip on there shoulder. our Qb had a bad game so he will be looking for redemption. look for a hard fought ball. Hey sportiemom do you have any kids that play in the Carter County League? I coached a tee ball team down there. My team and I loved it. Everyone was great.
