The 2 best defenses in the state played at freedom field last night.

I want to commend the players of oakland and smyrna. After the game there was nothing but a mutual respect shown for one another. This game could have gone either way. these are the 2 most evenly matched teams ive seen. Almost identical. A little luck and some breaks is what it takes to win it all.( dont mean luck as if oakland got lucky because they won it fair and square). smyrna had the ball bounce there way at times the last few years. That is what it takes and oakland is getting it done. Great classy players and fans from both schools and i am proud to say i was there to see a classic.

Would you say classy is destroying an opponents gym and basketball lockeroom by leaving gatorade bottles all over the gym floor, pouring gatorade onto the new gym floor, putting chairs in the toilets, ripping a water fountain off the wall, attempting and almost succeeding at ripping a toilet off the wall and throwing toilet paper everywhere? If thats classy then W.C is definitely classy since that is what they did to Smyrnas basketball facility after the game.

We should be careful when labeling a kid a "Bad Apple" when we dont know the whole story. Some kids need football and their football family is the only positive in their lives. Never be so quick to kick someone to the curb over how the media covers something. There is always a negative portrayal by the media because they are only concerned with selling papers. Just my opinion.

You people only read the media version which is used to sell papers and could care less about destroying this kids life. There is a true version of this story that you do not know about. We will let it go through the courts and in a few months you will know what really happened. Do not be so quick to convict! You would not want this to happen to you.

Smyrna vs. Siegel =2 field goals and a pick 6 for a TD with a 2 point conversion. Both teams have improved since week 1. It will be a great game.

I meant Smyrna continued to @@@@ up 1st downs before the 10 plays were up. Hey, i dont want to get into this with you. It was a good scrimmage between 2 successful programs and i wish both luck this year. They both can learn from it. Thats why you scrimmage.

I guess 4th down is only for punting then. Tell that to Tommy Tubberville. Besides Smyrna had very few 4th downs. and you said you only get 4 plays to score. Go back and check. But hey, thanks for your help. It is apparent you are an expert. Maybe you should get on the Titans board.

You have 4 plays to get 1st down buddy. Smyrna had 14 in 3 series. 2 drives stopped with smyrna 2nd and short inside the 20. Think on it. Ball control!!!

My new opinion from word on the street. Smyrna Riverdale Lebanon Wilson central or Blackman Siegel Oakland Guys, This thing can go to anyone.

What is all the fuss about. Even though Jarvis moved he was penalized and sat a year anyway. He sat a year!!!
