Yes. I have enjoyed watching Tyreke play for the Vols this year. I also wouldn't be surprised again this year if the Hampton Bulldogs and the Clay County Bulldogs meet up again at state.

I'd say it will be a standing room only crowd before the JV games are finished. To say it is one loud gymnasium is an understatement. Cloudland definitely has a home court advantage in that gym. This dog will not be able to make it but I would appreciate any updates you can give for the game.

Yep. One thing is for sure, only two teams will advance past the region semis. I predict those two games will be absolute wars.

Guess the same could have been said if she would have transferred to Hampton which would have also been a closer move than Cloudland. I also agree with King and respect her decision of being loyal to her teammates. I do agree that Hampton or Cloudland would have been state championship contenders had she transferred though.

I know this is not what our seniors envisioned and I literally hurt for them right now. All I can say is the Hampton Community is proud of you all. Sometimes things just doesn't work out. Hold your heads up because tonight does not define your legacy, Also congrats to Monterey. Good luck the rest of the way throughout the playoffs.

Hampton drove to about the 50-yard line and had to punt. Was able to flip the field, now Monterey on their own 10.

Huge turnover in the game.Monterey was driving inside the 20 and they just fumbled. Hampton recovers.

Bowman out of the Wildcat for Monterey just scored to make it 13 to 8 Monterey leading. Monterey went for two and was unsuccessful.

Also Monterey score was on a defensive score to go up 7 nothing

Monterey took a 7-0 lead. Dogs just scored and got the two-point conversion to go up 8 to 7 with 542 to go in the first half.

You know Hampton as well as anybody Crow. Hampton does their talking on the field. Never been much into this Nostradamus, predicting scores before a game. This is reminding me a lot like last year...not many gave us much of a chance during any of the playoff games last year either. Hampton will show up anyway with a workman like attitude, nothing fancy, and see how it ends up..... by the way this is not talking about the Oneida playoff game last year. That was one of the few games where both teams had mutual respect and not much score predicting was going on.

Thanks Spike. For that matter, most of the year last year, Hampton wasn't even ranked. They kind of snuck up on everyone but this year hasn't been the case. It's now that time where you play your best game or go to the house. I'll say this.. if they lose from here on out it won't be because they weren't prepared or the players are not giving 100% effort. It'll be they were just out manned. Go Dogs!

Pujo...... now this is a well thought out post. We both know you can't look at scores when comparing football teams. It's all about matchups....period. If the dogs can find some favorable matchups then we will probably fare well if not it could be a long night. I know these seniors are not ready for their careers to end yet and I look for the team to "kick it up a notch" this week, as Emeril Lagasse would say! I'm not one who likes to make predictions. If we win by 1, I'll be happy. Go Dogs!! By the way I've been awfully impressed with the defense the last 2 weeks.
