  1. That was pretty cool. I'll never turn down seeing a dunk. But trying to run the score up? Really, why would you do that? But, Congrats to him for winning mr basketball at c'ville.. /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
  2. Cornersville played well tonight and CA kept turning it over especially in the 2nd and 4th qtrs. CA jumped out to an early lead and looked like they were going to play well and dominate the game. And then c'ville woke up and kept forcing turnovers and bad shots and started to pull away and CA just looked confused the last 2 minutes before halftime. Coming out of halftime CA started back to playing well and dominated the 3rd qtr. I believe that c'ville was held to less than 8 points that qtr. (could be wrong on that). And c'ville led by 2 at the end of the qtr. Game was close for the first part of the 4th qtr but c'ville just ran away with it towards the end of the game and CA just kept making little mistakes and started panicking and started throwing up shots and c'ville won. Just not an on night for CA. They'll get it back together for East Hickman on Thursday i hope. That is my out take. Maybe not what everyone believed happened but for the most part it did. How did Cully only win by 12? I watched Huntland play earlier and they did not really impress me with their overall skill. I guess they actually made some of the 50 3's they prob threw up against CULLY. What happened in that game?
  3. Back to actual basketball instead of talking about stuff that apparently no one knows a lot about. CA has to go to Nash. Christian Thursday night and then hosts Fairview on Friday. Should win tomorrow night but could be in for a good game on Friday. What about the rest of the District? Who is Cully's next victim?
  4. Yea, i really have no idea where you get the perception that williams is like that. Maybe you don't know which one he is out there (he's the short guy thats #41 for CA), but he is a humble guy that doesn't talk a lot out on the court, he just gets the job done so i'm not sure how that over-shadows his basketball talent. I guess you know him better than I do so maybe i should just let you talk about him.. And i'm not really sure about his belief of darnell for MVP, he's a good player but not MVP caliber.
  5. AMEN! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> District games are about to pick up this next week. Who's playing who? I know CA plays at Cully on the 9th.
  6. I think we are getting off topic. CULLY IS THE BEST TEAM EVER! DOMINATION.
  7. What teams are playing in tournaments this week?
  8. I don't know Farmer (so i don't know if he was meaning to use sarcasm) but there is little thing in the english language called "sarcasm".... Guess you don't know it all, Mr Knowitall
  9. The full All-Region team was printed in the Daily Herald today. And was in the Tennessean yesterday, i do believe.
  10. I'm not sure about anyone else. But i know that Alex Rector, Bryce Davidson and Preston Gilbreath were all seniors this year.
  11. Tennessee Football Coaches Association
  12. Not disagreeing with you because i haven't seen Huntland play yet, but why do you believe Huntland is better than CA? I'm not sure if anyone can match up with Cully's size or talent. CA definitely isn't going to match up with their size, so they are going to have to find other ways to make it a game.
  13. At Culleoka - 1/9 At CA - 2/3 I'm not going to say CA is going to win, but i believe that they'll give cully a better game than anyone else in the district has so far, especially at CA because they will have already had one look at them. For CA to have a shot, they are going to have to start making their three's and cut out little mistakes.
  14. Good game to CA. They keep finding ways to win this year which is the opposite of last year. Last year they lost at least 6 games by less than 5 points and this year they have won by under 8 points a game in all their wins. Last year gave them a lot of needed experience and they are showing it helped them out by winning these close games. Williams really stepped it up in the 2nd half tonight and played the best he has played all season in my opinion. I agree with Monkey that they seemed like they pressed a few times but they actually played more under control then they have all year. It was a good win by the Bulldogs.
  15. Yea, Easterday has played better this year. I think people trashing him on here really helped him out and gave him something to play for.
  16. Yea, they look nice especially in 1A because they aren't see that often. But there is no reason to start a topic about one guy doing a normal dunk.
  17. Haven't heard. When does the full list come out? I would have thought that the local papers would have already announced it.
  18. This is a dumb thread. Wow, a 6'4 guy can dunk on an ankle that he apparently didn't hurt too bad because he had played for another quarter and you usually jump off of one foot so he probably just jumped off of his other ankle and even if he did jump off of his "hurt" ankle, big deal. No one cares. People play hurt all the time and it isn't a big deal. I know people that have played through bigger injuries than a hurt ankle. Dunk while having a torn ACL and i'll be a little impressed.
  19. 15 points? That is a very bold statement. Doubt that it holds up throughout the season. How'd they do tonight? CA won 53-48. Again, they couldn't put the game away. Cornersvile really played well during the fourth qtr. They could've given up but they kept trying and even tied the game. Whoever C'ville's post player is, really shut down CA's inside game and made them take outside shots(which were luckily falling tonight unlike earlier in the year.) C'ville made a lot of turnovers throughout the game and kept trying full court passes for some reason. CA proved that they can find a way to win. It was a pretty good game but could've turned bad if CA would learn how to put teams away.
  20. The Wood by 3. Should be a really good game.
  21. The twins from Culleoka are pretty good and tall.
  22. CA will win. If both teams played to their potential then i'd pick CA by 10+, but all of CA's games have been kept close so until CA finds a way to finish teams off, CA will win in a close one. Cully will win by 10. Huntland has played well lately but there will be no upset this time.
  23. Congrats to Huntland. It sounds like it was a really good game.
