Giles lost the game on purpose so they could stay out of CPA's bracket. Figured their chances were better to beat Waverly and then Camden/Cascade winner. Think you are underestimating Giles because of scores. If I were picking one upset, this would be the one. Being at Waverly is a definite advantage but Giles is more talented than record would indicate.

Giles has played much better as of late. These teams match up better than you think and the teams Waverly played in their district are not very good from 3 down.

Don't be surprised if #4 Giles Co. upsets Waverly. CPA should waltz to the championship. Creekwood over Page. Cascade over Camden.

Don't believe anyone will be able to come closer than 20. Just too many weapons. Blackwell is the best player in the state and Bonds is a very special player as well.

What does that teach your kids though? TSSAA needs to make the consolation game an elimination game and give the first place team a bye in Region.

Sportsnerd, you are exactly right, privates do have to recruit with public schools for students. That is exactly why there should be a split. CPA has more D-1 players on this team than most public schools will have in 20 years if at all. It is an unfair playing field.

I will go with Community as the only winner. Most games should be close.

Great job by Rockets! How does 10-A stack up with 9-A? Would hate to face Community if I were the 1 seed in this Region. Is 9-A strong enough to sweep?

They won District last year and he was Coach of the Year. Maybe is bad talent.

I can think of many more than one coach who would do whatever it takes to win a gold ball. Watch how many will throw games in the 3rd place game over the next week.

Which means nothing because only top seed gets bye into Region.. Probably not going to matter much for tournament since top 4 are so much better than bottom.

How did they clinch? If Community beats MTCS , they will be tied. And they will have split. What is the tie-breaker?
