But it is the place to say that the student athletes of coffee county are not smart enough to run the spread offense? From what I know it is pretty simple just pitch and catch right. If they are not smart enough to do that then how in the world do they lace up there cleats?

From what I hear some of the more inlightened people of T-town are begining to see the rust on the halo.

Of course that also makes me question the character of the Great John Olive if he would fight for someone who had obviously done something worth getting fired over. But then again a lot of things he does makes me question his integrity.

Or it could be that in the playoffs they play against teams that have a lot more athletes and that is why they get beat all the time. I don't know only a guess on my part since they always go to region 4 which is the best region in the state. If you don't believe me just ask anyone from region 4 and they will tell you they are the best. Until there are the even close to being the same number of athletes on the field coffee will not due well in the playoffs. Besides the past two playoff apperances they lost to Smyrna who won the state championship and Wilson Central who knocked out rivedale and played Smyrna their best game of the year. So I would say loosing to these two teams is nothing to be woried about.

When has anyone argued that region 4 does not have the best athletes in the state. This has been a well known fact for the past few years. If you don't believe me just ask someone from region 4 they will tell you how wonderful they are.

Yes a good coach can be found if you do the work, but they have known Price was gone before Christmas and they have just now got down to 5. It is one thing to be thurough, and another to drag your feet. The kids, community, and coaches deserve to know who their leader is going to be next year. And I agree a commitee is the way to go.

Elam does not have a teaching degree which means he can not teach and acording to the TSSAA you must have 5 years as a volunteer coach to take over a program as the head coach. Chris only has one year of experiance at the middle school level. He has never coached at the high school level and as we all know playing and coaching are two totaly different animals. He is not ready for that kind of responsibility, no matter what kind of god people in coffee county think he is. He was a great player don't get me wrong I played with him and have been a good friend of his familys, but he would not do well at coffee county, or any other high school as the head coach right now.

How many games did you see him play in. I myself don't remember any since he just played BASEBALL in highschool. Nothing agianst Pip, I grew up with him, but it is easy to coach DB's at Smyrna and win a ring. It is another thing to be a head coach at Coffee county and win anything. THe athletes are completely different, but Sisk has been here for the past five years and knows how to get the job done. Personally I will be very disapointed if anyone gets this job other than Sisk.

All Gonzales has is size Watson has more heart than any young man I have ever seen play the game. He is a much better chioce than Gonzales would ever be.

The best one possible is sitting right under there nose. Coach Sisk knows how to win at Coffee county which most people as history shows don't

Coach Taylor will not be coaching anything next year. He is going into administration. I think he has had enough of the non-athletes at coffee county

If he does leave Smyrna who would be some canidates for the Smyrna job?

So I guess no one knows anything about this position yet. I have heard Price's name mentioned a lot about the Soddy Daisy job.

For the past 5 years coach Price has been at Coffee County where he has taken them to the playoffs 4 of those years, which is unheard of since they have only been in the playoff once before he got there.
