  1. I also agree that Welsey Rather should be higher on the list. Fantastic player that leads his team real well.
  2. Broussard was POY in District 4aa and Sherril was not so I am not sure how that is really possible he is only number 25. And I believe Sherril is a little too high also.
  3. Ya i knew he was pretty good at basketball but i couldnt tell which one he would choose if any. I dont know about the Notre Dame thing but it's a sure possibility with this kid. I guess no one knows except people at school or whatever where he will sign if at all. Not bad if its Notre Dame or another D1 catholic school.
  4. Does anyone have any idea where the Broussard kid will play, he goes to Catholic so Notre Dame a possibility? Or school in TN? Any ideas?
  5. very insightful post from a piece of crap, boneheaded, overconfident, mentally handicapped, dipstick, delusional, arrogant, fire hose wielding, ra-tarded, classless 10 year old knox catholic enthusiast and overall football expert. Lets just hope you dont have a bowel movement any time soon because by the look of things you're head's so far up your hind parts you'll be smothered to death! Phewwww. Glad I got that out of my system. Yeah, classless is right. You really showed him didn't you? Thats the way to express your feelings towards that kid haha funny man you are eagle. And of course there was pass interference against Catholic every play...good point my friend. I also enjoyed the 28 to 2 prediction over Catholic. Very close prediction, I like it. But it is Catholic so they cheated somehow right? Exactly. Well loved the game, hope the beatings continue all year.
  6. Ok, first of all this was a stupid post cause he had 20 of the 45 points scored against Carter so if scoring 20 is overrated than you are right.....but its not. And Catholic beat AC, Stone, Powell, Scott three times, and many others. I think they had 18 wins on the season. You are crazy and completely jealous of someone it seems.....
  7. It's hard to beat a team that shoots 70% hahaha.
  8. Well if he can be easily shut down, then why don't they? He beat you guys (Scott) and I can tell someone wished they won district mvp haha. You are ridiculous. He scores a consistent 12 points and is one good rebounder. But apparently someone is mad they lost to Catholic....ha poor thing.
  9. I was at the Catholic vs. Scott game and I have to say that was one of the greatest finished I have ever seen. After seeing the Catholic Stone game I knew who was going to take that shot, and sure enough, Broussard did and of course he hit it. Wow, two game-winning shots in one season, thats amazing. Congrats to Broussard and the Irish. Can't wait for the championship. Go Stone!!!
  10. Yes im almost positive that was the number. I agree with you guys, I would rather have Broussard or Kiser not only because they are solid player, but because they are team players and lead their teams. They are also better overall than Rorex or Cross, defensively and more chemistry. I think it was a good decision, congrats to Kiser and Broussard
  11. Does anyone know the district MVP and the all-district teams? Go Stone!!!
  12. As Catholic goes, I know they have a solid returning catcher in Broussard. I know they have Irwin and DiFelice. But beside them, I think they are a young team after losing I think 8 or 9 seniors.
  13. To break a tiebreaker, they drew numbers out of a hat and whoever has the lowest number wins the tiebreaker and Catholic drew #1 so in this case Catholic would be the number one seed in the tournament and AC number two seed. Go Stone!!!
  14. I've gotta say...i saw the game and that was one of the greatest finishes i have ever seen in any kind of game. And talk about clutch and pulling through in a huge district game. Broussard stepped to the line and swished all three like he had done it a thousand times. He didnt look nervous at all to me. The play was amazing as well. Williamson to Broussard over two Stone players and getting the shot off and getting fouled. Wow and of course a huge win for the Irish. Congrats to Mr. Clutch and Catholic. Go Stone!!!
  15. Well did you ever see catholic play last year? just asking. but when i saw them numerous times it looked like a two man show and walden was part of that and i saw the stats, he wasnt the leading scorer, shooter, or assist man last year. the only problem was they had 90% of their shots and they just werent a "team". they finished the season 17-12. im just saying id rather have 3 decent guards that play excellent together than one that forces shots. thats just me though Go Stone!!!
  16. I personally think this year catholic team is better than a couple of the previous years. and ive been around the district for awhile now. they are better without walden and conaty. they play better as a team where last year it was walden and conaty just jacking up shots wherever. they are better this year and you better watch out for them in the district tourney. how about you watcha little more around the district before you critisize teams. Go Stone!!!
  17. you are completely right. catholic definately should have won the game. catholic looked really good and played incredible defense. players got in foul trouble and ac just came away with the win. i still dont understand how ac beat stone by 20+. this district should be a nice battle in the tournament. stone, ac, and catholic are all about even it seems. cant wait. Go Stone!!!
  18. Alright well i was at the game and i have never seen catholic play that bad this year. I dont know what was wrong with them. I have also never seen stone play that good this year. It was like every shot went in no matter what happened. Im sorry catholic didnt play like they are capable of because we missed a potential great game. I cant wait for the meeting at stone. Hopefully catholic shows up and plays like they really can. Go Stone!!!
  19. wow you are right. this will be one of the best games of the early season. i sure cant wait. i think catholic wins by 3 if they stay out of foul trouble. sorry stone fans. Go Stone!!!
  20. this is a great list and probably wouldn't change one thing. good job
  21. Every year this seems to be a great game no matter how different the teams are that year. I cant wait for this game and will definately be attending but arriving early because seats are hard to come by in this series. I think catholic has the edge because of their defense and ability to shoot in big games. The only problem will be Tarwater and he is capable of being stopped. If he scores under 15, catholic wins. The webb guards aren't as talented as catholic's and hood is a force down low. Once catholic's football players get their feet wet and the chemistry develops i see catholic doing very well with the great guard play. Go Stone!
  22. You are very right. Both of these players have really developed and I can't wait to watch Broussard and how his game has developed from last year. He was on a team with no chemistry and didn't get a lot of respect. I expect him to evolve this year into a nice player and make an impact. Like you said can really jump and has a nice mid range jumper. Another player to watch our for is Ponzurike kid. He is very small and short but you better watch out cause he can light it up from the 3 line. Widmere plays tough and Hood is just large. Can't wait for the Stone Catholic game. Go Stone!
  23. So you are telling me that conaty was the player that scored the majority of the points but walden is still the go to guy. I also read an article while catholic was somewhere in kentucky and conaty made the game-winning shot. I also noticed that walden didn't score over ten points in some of their games. It looked like his shot was down last year. But if this is your definition of the go to player then maybe it was walden.
  24. I wouldn't say walden was the go to guy. I would say conaty last year. But about this year i would say either ponzuric, broussard, widmer, or hood. Kind of like ScottA said whoever is hot.
